Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

After a couple of days in Hong Kong shopping and seeing the site it was time to finish our trip and head back to Melbourne, Australia.

We checked out of the hotel at 7am and headed back to Hong Kong International Airport for our 10am flight to Melbourne.

It was a good flight back into Australia as we touched down at 9pm (Australia time)
where I met my girl friends parents for the first time, we all drove back to there house in Melbourne.

Hong Kong, China

After a 14 hour flight from London we arrived into Hong Kong at 6pm Monday 23th Feb. 2009
We walked of the plane and walked into a muggy 28 Degrees in Hong Kong.

We picked up our bags went through customs and headed to find our taxi van to our hotel.

It was 45 minute drive from the airport to our city hotel, which we arrived just before 8pm and it was so good to get to our air-conditioned room. We spent the rest of night walking around Hong Kong and looking for a place eat, and returned to out hotel room just after midnight.

Well its been two and half year I've spent living in London and after an amazing last summer, it was time to leave and start a new life in Melbourne Australia.

Over the last coming days I have caught up with all my friends and tonight I fly out of Heathrow heading to Hong Kong for two days before arriving in Melbourne.

It was the hardest thing I had to do... saying goodbye to my little sister, she had been in London for the last 8 months. I had been her rock, in helping her settle in to London life and being the big brother. It was hard to say goodbye but I knew she would be okay.

Me and my girl friend said our goodbyes and we boarded the flight to Hong Kong at 9pm.

Thanks to all my friends in the UK and Europe and I hope to see you soon

Luxor, Nile River Valley, Egypt

Breakfast. Early morning motor boat launch to Luxor's West Bank and ride donkey's to the imposing Temple of Hatshepsut. Afterward we visit the legendary Valley of the Kings and the the massive pair of statues know as the Colossi of Memnon. If you're up for some dizzy excitement then why not do hot air ballooning over ancient Thebes beforehand - it's fabulous at sunrise! This afternoon after lunch and time to relax we visit the colossal Temple of Karnak. Lose yourself in the stone-columned Hypostle Hall and go crazy with your camera. Later this evening climb aboard the overnight train to Cairo. Overnight Luxor

Luxor, Nile River Valley, Egypt

At over 4000 years old Thebes (Luxor) is a living museum and the jewel in Egypt's archaeological crown. This evening we tour Luxor Temple - majestically illuminated by thousands of spotlights. Shafts of artificial light stream from the mammoth columns and intricately carved lintels the architectural brilliance of the temple is magnified with dramatic effect.
