Macau, Macau

The only reason for us to go to Macau is ... the Hard Rock Hotel.We were disappointed.The girls were too and never said so because we advertised HRH’s.HRH Macau is a standard 4 star hotel to which they added a couple of guitars.Which does NOT make it a HRH.Sorry girls!At least, they went to the city. And we stole their pictures.Thanks girls.Macau is one of the two special administrative regions of the People's Republic of China, the other being Hong. It is one of the richest cities in the world and was both the first and last European colony in China. Portuguese traders first settled in Macau in the 16th century and subsequently administered the region until the handover on 20 December 1999. Cormorant birds do fishing much better at night than day time With the order from fisherman, cormorants dive into water to find fish and catch them. When they succeed in getting any fish, they will proudly swim back to the raft and show off to the fisherman, where the fisherman usually award one or two very small fish to encourage them. Of course, the birds also swallow the small fish when they catch. With the straw or rope tied around their necks, they cannot swallow these big carps they catch.

The Longji Terraces are located in Longsheng County about 2 hours from Guilin . The rice terraces are built into the hillsides. The terraces look like great chains or ribbons as they wind from the foot to the top of the hill. This ingenious construction makes best use of the scare arable land and water resources in the mountainous area: 66km2. The Terraces were first built in the Yuan dynasty.
