Home!

Made it home! Had a long flight but it was okay! I must say i was shocked to realize that things here are in bloom yet! Its spring in Europe already! But oh well, as someone said to me, I just get to see it all over again! True enough!

I was very happy to sleep in my own bed last night!! YAY i missed my bed!! Ha ha and i missed Milk!! They have excellent ice cream and everything else but the milk they have not figured out, and i'm guessing mainly because they don't really drink it over there! Cereal and Coffee and Tea is all they pretty much use it for!!

Well, i guess this is it! I'm off to get things done today! Gotta get some food! And i'm off to get picture developed! So i'll have those for everyone to see!

Well hello!

So yesterday was a travel day from hell! Go figure the one country i'd get lost in would be england where they speak english!! Ha ha. Left my hostel in Barcelona at 9am, and by 7pm london time, i arrive at my hostel! 11 hours later! Long tiring day! However i got a good chuckle from this one fellow in the train station in london, he saw me pick up my back pack with one hand and fling it over my shoulder and he was like "wow, no one will mess with you if you can sling that bag over your shoulder like that!" Ha haha my bag is now bigger then me and it was 14kgs when i flew over and now its 17.4kgs (this does not include my small backpack that attachs which i assume to be like 6 -10 kgs!! ) So when they are togethers its not too light!! ha ha
I got another chuckle out today when walking to the underground to get to the airport, a guy saw me walking with my bag and was like " gez, it looks like you have a kitchen sink in there girl!" ha ha ha ha made my day start off great! Fun times.
However i must say I've seen enough undergrounds, buses, trains and planes! One more plane til i'm home! Hurray.

Heathrow Airport is huge, and yet again i did some shopping... well what can i say had to spend the last of my money i had out, not to mention i love finding random bills in pockets! ha ha Anyways, off to find my gate which apparently is a 20 min walk from here (i'm already through security!)

Home in a few more hours.... pretty crazy!!

Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands

Hey!!

Well i made it to Barcelona Tuesday Night. Yesterday i met up with my friend Miranda, whos from Newfoundland but finishing teaching English in France! We hung out for the day yesterday and she left this morning. We did some touristy things in the Am, and did some shopping and hit the beach!! Loving the sun!! Today i´ll be hitting the beach after lunch!! Sooo pleased with the weather, and barcelona is just as good as i remember! But man, i gotta stay away from the shops.... ha ha.....

Wish i could add pics to show you all.. but i can´t!!!

This is my last full day here! :( Tomorrow afternoon i fly out to London! Then its homeward bound from there... crazy that my trips coming to an end... can´t be sure i´m fully ready to go home, but i do miss all you crazy folk... ha ha....

I´ll probably write again from London, i´ll have time to kill in the airport i´m sure! Always do!

hey

So, i have a little more time at the moment!

As i said, the wedding was great. Now, the story about my head, see we were staying in cottages and the ceilings on the top floor are slanted, and well... i smashed my head very hard on it! And since i didn't want to cause a commotion before the wedding once i got off the floor i went on with my way, it wasn't until later that night when i took the headband off that i realised my head was bleeding! Ha ha and my headband made little pin pricks all in my head, and well it hurt! ha ha. I think the wine later helped ease my pain... the bride was beautiful and i couldn't be happier for my brother and Isy. The dance was fun.

The rest of my days in england were great, i left my family today in Lichfield a little town we went to for lunch and to see a cathedral, and caught a train back to Birmingham ( we were about an hour north of here for the wedding and where the cottages are). I'm waiting in the airport to catch my plane to Barcelona! I'll get there 1030pm ish and should make it to my hostel before midnight... i hope! ha ha i'll figure all that out once i'm there!

Unfortunitally i can't put up any pictures, this comp wont let me, i'll add more in Spain, however you probably wont get any hot sun barcelona pics cause my battery is now dead and my 2 memory cards full.. haha i bought a disposable one tho... haha soooo old school...... he he

Hey!!

England has been great! The weddning was soo wonderful! I read a Poem during the ceremony!! It was sucha a great day!! Had some drinks in the evening....

We went to a castle today in Warwick.... i dont have much time so i'll write more later! Things are good. Heading to Spain tomorrow night for more adventure and the best part... the SUN!! he he

Valkenburg, Netherlands

Hey!

Well Dustin took me to the Netherlands today!! We went to Valkenburg and went to Gemeentegrot, which is the Town Cave. It was pretty cool.There were mural paintings and artistic expressions, and the remains of what disturbed mankind built in the cave which was used as a shelter. Its was pretty neat!! And besides that i got to go to the Netherlands!! Ha ha, plus we went on the American base which is also in the Netherlands. (no idea why i`m typing in bold now... oopsy hit something)

Anyways, my last day here has been great! Out for Supper later!

Hello!

Well my time here in Germany has been great! Tina and Dustin have been amazing to me and its been soo nice to visit friends! Yesterday we spent the day seeing things and went to Aachenng, about 40min from here, a shopping little town, it was nice. Tina and I then baked a cake for Dustins birthday which is today! I'm loving Imy time here relaxing and taking it easy.

Today i went on the train to Cologne. Which is about 1hr20min on the train. Its a beautiful little town, and i went to a Chocolate Factory!!! Never a good thing when you're hungry!!! He he. Loved the chocolate store afterwards! ha ha. Good times.

When i got back, we sang happy birthday to Dustin and gave him his cake! Then we went out for supper, and dustin and i did some random shot of something that they apparently give you after you eat there. Good stuff.

I'll be here until friday morn, when i am flying out Birmingham England for Ryan and Isy's Wedding!! Time is just flying by! Before you know i'll be back in Canada! Yeeish. Ha ha.

Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay here in Germany. Tina and Dustin are GREAT!!! :)

Hello!~

So i left Ukraine yesterday! At the airport this danish guy decided to talk to me, it was very interesting. And by the end of it all he decided he was going to buy me a meal on the plane cause i needed to try some danish food. Ha ha. And he did, so i got a weird meal and can't be sure of what excatly i ate! Good times. He also decided to tell me he had a good looking 27 year old son... and i'm thinking, well that'd be nice if he was here! ha ha

So i landed in Denmark and was there for a few hours! I got to see some things out of the plane window! ha ha like the bridge that connects Denmark to Sweden that was neat. Anyways, my stop over was good and my flight to Germany was only an hour. I landed and Tina and her husband Dustin picked me up! i am staying here with them! Its sooo nice to have a house to stay in, a real bed!! Its great i even got to take my time getting dressed today and did my hair!!! ha ha I'm going to take it easy today and just wander around, perhaps walk around the downtown area since its a nice day and Dustin said he'd take me there. Tomorrow i'll probably take a train to a nieghboring town to see things.

I'm very happy to be here, and it'll be a nice visit! Plus, Tina has soem cold medicine that i can take! yay, ha ha.

Hope things are good in Canada! Oh, and i lost an hour so now i'm only 5 hours a head of you east coasters!

Kiev, Ukraine

Hello everyone! Well i made it back to Kiev Yesterday Morning!

Charlene and I went shopping yesterday, it was great! And we bought tickets to the Opera!! Its SOOO cheap here its crazy, once i convert it for Main floor tickets one of the most expensive it was only like 15 dollars canadian! Crazy. It was a great experience since i've never seen an Opera, it was Madame Butterfly which now i have to go read about so i fully know what i watched! Ha ha the Music was just amazing! And, we got all dressed up to go which was really fun! It was Charlenes birthday so we made a good day out of it! It was great!!!

I'm at the train station right now where i will be taking a bus that'll take about an hour to the Airport where i'll be catching a plane to Germany. I have a stop over in Copengagen before i land in Dusseldorf. I'll be sad to Leave here since my money goes far! I havent spent very much! and once i'm on the euro my money wont go as far anymore!! Oh well still excited tho! Germany should be great!!

This computer wont let me add the pics but i will put some up next time i'm near a computer!!! he he

Lviv, Ukraine

hey,

So we went to Zolochiv again yesterday to visit Charlenes Family. We had perogies with them and shots of vodka, ha ha, and we were treated very well. They took us to see a Castle just outside of the town it was amazing, sadly it hasnt been taken care of in years so and its from the 1800's, they hope one day there will be money put to it to restore it like they have started to do with the Zolochiv castle. The family were sooo happy with Charlene, and were sad to see her leave. We had a great day with them, it was amazing to see.

Today we are spending the day in Lviv until we catch a train back to Kiev. There is some shopping i want to do today! ha ha. I'll arrive in Kiev tomorrow morning, spend the day there and leave Sunday. I have booked a flight out of Ukraine (even tho i will be sad to leave here) and i am making my way to Germany!! Yay another place to see. From germany i'll make my way to England!
Which also reminds me, its my brothers birthday today, SOO HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN!!!!
