I had the place to myself and had never cooked up a lobster before, So i  invited some friends with lobster cooking expertise.We bought ourselves 3- 3 pound lobsters brought them home only to realize How BIG they really were they were double the size of any standard pot i had around the home, Luckily a friend brought us a massive pot over to cook up the lobsters And even this huge pot wasn't big enough for 1 lobster who was just Too massive!

So its been roughly 4 years since the trip that changed my life forever and as the weather turns and fall approaches and the urge to travel creeps back I've decided to Reflect For just a moment.I think This travelblog is a ongoing process As i still have no idea where i am going or where i will end up just that i will.   I live in a constant state of evolution my goals dreams and aspirations are Ever changing With each new experience.   Since Discovering travel I feel as though I had been living my life in a old black and white film and now suddenly I'm seeing the world in True color.    I Believe Life can be truly amazing if you let it I try my best to Stay open to Each new experience that may come Knowing that 1 Chance encounter 1 slight detour, 1 brief smile May open me a whole new world previously unknown to me.   I seem to have a hard time staying in 1 place for very long no matter how much I may love where I am at the moment.Something deep down inside always pushes me to keep going perhaps its the excitement of not knowing whats to come next.Or perhaps I spend too much time staring at maps, reading wikipedias of all the places I've yet to visit all the Friends I've yet to meet.   Or perhaps I'm just a lost soul determined to live my life to the fullest before it passes me bye.The best thing in life is waking up on a weekday morning with a world of possibilities, Seeing not Obstacles But opportunities!I look forward to tomorrow and all that it brings, for its only a day away!

So i have arrived safely in Asia and i gotta say i have almost forgot how amazing Asian efficiency is after so long in Latin America i was in row 2 so one of the first people off the plane cleared immigration garbed my bag (already out waiting for me) cleared customs and was in a 5 dollar taxi all within the first 5 min out of the plane.Its funny as i drove to my hotel i kept narrating in my head how i would right this blog... perhaps i will start blogging more often again since I'm in a interesting country... oz is amazing but typical developed country.Upon first arrival i noticed the structured chaos taxis motos drunk ozzys driving horse Caridge as an array of sights and sounds and bright light over come my senses.Bali is like this crazy mix of street venders selling 10 cent chicken strips in front of the starbucks and other such American corporations.As well the heat and humidity was super intense oz is hot, but bali is muggy even despite the fact that i arrived in the late evening.Interestingly enough the place doesn't seem so busy for a Saturday night in the number one tourist destination however all the budget hostels and such seem to be booked up.

So I'm back home for the moment and like usual everyone who kept asking me when i was coming home or gave the impression of missing my company Has made very little effort to spent time with me.I've been spending most of my time on the computer reading random articles on the internet as well i've taken up a new hobby reading books lol i know some how i've become a big nerd with no friends....roughly 4 years ago i set out on this path i set to sell all my things distance myself from people i may miss and Well i was successful Though i must admit it was much harsher then i thought to come home Having very little possessions and few friends who A)i had things in common with as i seem to have gone a completely different direction then your average Albertan.When i was away living in a tiny lil hotel room with No A/C and a bathroom that consisted of 1 Tap And a multi purpose Bucket that Was cleaverly designed as both The shower and the Toilet flusher although the toilet was more so a hole in the ground.I really thought i was ready To come home and return to society and culture i had grown up i even imagined myself buying a lil house in suburbia with a white picket fence my 2 pine trees with no more then 1 inch in diametre (neighborhood rules)Getting one of those massive Flat screen TVs everyone seemed to have and Returning to the real world Doing all the normal stuff normal people doThen 3 days later...I realised there was no chance of that, And i decided there was no point in massing stuff But if i couldn't return to materialism and pointless consumerism What was i to do with the next 40 years?Its kinda the theme of north america Work Hard and blow your money on stuff you'll need to or want to replace in the next couple years thus successfully trapping yourself in a endless cycle of working a unsatisfying job To keep with your undying hunger to consume because you're raised to belive it will make you happy and others will notice you coz of your possesions and some how you never seem to realise that like a drink or a smoke that happiness doesn't last coz you spend most your time alone or with people you don't like.
