no swell at the horizon...
so on the way south we stop by in bondi...just to show jurjen the most famous australian beach..and probably the one that i dislike the most since there are always too many ppl around...surfing is impossible for beginners and the locals are aggressive..

-i would surf now though..but is just the feeling that i don't like-

anyways..stop for a walk even on other eastern beaches..and then drive again heading south...
the drive was amazing, going through the royal national park. its a vast extent of bushland and forest just 30 minutes south of sydney..very accessible..and with a bunch of walks to do. i was supposed to walk through it last year, camping on the way back to the city, but never menaged to do...but would be really worthed!
a few accesses to beaches, but we avoided them since there was no swell and we would've had to pay the park fees.

we end up in woonoona..and there are a couple of peaks in the water...worth a quick paddle...woonoona is a swell magnet, so it's always worthed having a look here if everywhere else is flat...

here we go, ready to leave...

final moments of packing and double checking all our gear, hopefully we have everything we need for cooking and camping...in case we'll find something on the road..is not that we are going too far from civilization anyways..

and to start it easy, we crashed in curl curl, one of the beaches where i usually go surfing...

quick shopping to get basics and food for the night...and we're ready for the first night...
pretty chilly...

but is good starting to cook great food even on a camping stove...i think it will happen often!
