Well we made it. Traveled to Alaska went all over drove 16,081 miles and don't ask me what our gas bill was. All I can say is Canada was the highest at $1.69 per liter so figure it out. We planed our trip and finally decided to go with a group. We picked Adventure Caravan out of Texas and I want to say if you ever go like we did use Adventure Caravan because it is a first class company. For every dollar spend you received a lot more. The management team were the best. The other Rv'ers in the Caravan were from all over the states and walks of life. After a couple of day's everybody got to know each other and were looking for next turn in the road. To sign off I must say a good time was had by all and we met friends that will be close to our heart for the rest of our lives. Oh if you have enjoyed our travel blog you have to thank a couple that we met at Mousetail Landing Tenn by the name of Jody and Andy. See you next year for the rest of the story.

When we arrived and headed for our camp site the deer were all around. So we set up, started a fire, got out the chairs, pop a beer and enjoyed our last night of our trip. And guess what I got voted to cook outside on the grill. And it was warm, I guess I'm just a warm weather person.Love it.

We stop at our sons home for a visit on our way home. Also I took off the truck grill guard and the extra fuel tank to store until the next trip next year. Also we had to check out Tom's new family member Mason the dog.Then we headed south on the last leg of our trip.

We stayed right next to the shore of the lake and the weather was perfect and warm. We even took the electric blanket off the bed, it was the first time this summer we didn't have to use it.

One thing I can say is South Dakota has a lot of corn and soy bean fields and Iowa has the same so we passed a lot of farms on the way south. I must say it's getting warmer so it time to slow down.
