Harrogate, United Kingdom

1st September 2006, we arrived back in blighty, having crash landed into the big smoke homeless, pennyless, jobless but much wiser and thirsty for life from our travels our way round. Over a year later, back on the career and house ladder somewhere where we got off and we are still remanincing about our way round. Gradually finding snips of time to compile our media memories and inspired by the DVD box sets of Ewan McGregor and Charlie we are nearing completion (as if there is such a thing) of our Long way round, long way down, our way round dvd. Heres an intro taster of what its all about.....
Ground Control, United Kingdom

OUR ROADTRIP INDEX Well, we talked about this trip for a long while, then we travelled the dream and made it happen for a long while too (14mths total). Now all thats left to do is update this journal, iron out the mistakes and make it useful to other aspiring travellers who are planning a similar route. More importantly this travelblog is a great source of amusement for both Tilly and I to reminisce over for years to come. Memories are a wonderful thing full of imagery, sounds and smells that can take you right back to anywhere in your time! Check out our last blog and video diary surprise return (its and absolute corker). Please feel free to add a comment to our journal, it would be great to hear from you.
