Destination 399[Arrival from Ferry]After a night with more than just a fiew hours of sleep on the ferry from Greece, I arrived early in the morning around 7:00am scared facing the heavily industrialized City of Brindisi! The first sight of Italy was not the most charming - hopefully to be changed soon. Therefore, after arrival and one of the quickest Immigragtion check (1 Minute), immediate departure on motorbike to explore more charming places.See next entry.

Destination 398[Ferry]After leaving the city of Piraeus without any roadmap and taking the overcrowded toll freeway to the connected Island of Peloponnes I left the busy freeway to go on along the main road. A beautiful coastline road along the ugly freeway was taking me through lovely greek villages and wonderful senery.Arrived at Patras, the third ferry brings me overnightly to Brindisi, Italy, to arrive there at next morning. As usual: A night in my sleeping bag somwhere at deck on the floor to sleep.

I arrive at 17:00h at the same place, where I started this journey the 30.4.2006 (click here) with the same vehicle, the same rider and complete the full scale world trip across all 5 continents happiest and well up.This trip has brought pretty much all what has to be experienced in a worldtrip. And it is eventually an example, that anybody can do anything, or can go anywhere, if one just believe in it.But a journey like this would never be possible without help of others. Destination 405km197'555Not entirely shure, if I spend my last day in a foreign country, I head towards north. A stopover at Novi Ligure provides me finally the opportunity to send a notification to all family and friends about my remaining itinerary before return back home. The date has been fixed to the 29.The ride up to Vercelly in the low lands was not that exciting like the sighting of the mountain of Mont Blanc in the far. Since my navigation control recently has broken down, this was the perfect sign to follow, where I planed to cross the border to Switzerland.Just arrived in late afternoon to Aosta, I was not only already entered to the italian part of the alps but also to the point of good bye. Here I decided not to spend another night in Italy and crossed the border to my homecountry Switzerland a hour later at Calle del Gran San Bernardo. BIENVENUE EN SUISSE - WELCOME TO SWITZERLAND
