Caye Caulker, Belize

Ambergris what? Ambergris was beautiful and all but Caye Caulker (pronounced Key Cawl-ker) was the place to be; it was cheaper, the people were nicer, the scenery was more beautiful, the hammocks were more comfortable and the diving was better which lent for a much better time. Can't say enough good about the place and if it weren't for the fact that we had 2 other countries to make it to then might possibly have stayed a bit longer. Chicken, rice and beans, and potato salad everyday...yum.
Ambergris Caye, Belize

Ambergris was outstanding, however, it seemed a little pricey. It seemed to be a bit more of a resort town. If anybody is heading to Ambergris look out for Waruguma, best lobster burritos ever! Also, a little frozen custard shop called DandE's...
Orange Walk, Belize

Orange Walk is a really tiny town and honestly not much going on unless you are like us and want to see the mayan ruins at Lamanai. We stayed at this Japanese hotel called Akhito it was really clean and the showers were huge so that was nice. We met this really cool cab driver and rode over an hour to see the ruins. They were amazing. If you don´t know much about mayan history definitely look into it...completely fascinating.
Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala

We hopped on an overnight bus and head from Tikal down to Antigua. Its
a mountain town with goregeous views of volcanos (extinct and active)
and a great jumping off point for any trips around Lake Atalan (wrong
spelling). That is all for now PICTURES COMING SOON and we need to
catch up on the places we went and haven´t written about.
