The first thing I saw at Susies relatives was a bunny!!! They have a little bunny foofoo named George who I am excited to play with again tonight! Susies relatives are very nice and cook us delicious meals :) They are the best meals we have had on this trip!!! It is also nice to not smell like a butt because we have a nice house to stay in! The first night in London we just relaxed and watched a movie, and I really was able to see that this trip affected me because I have been super tired!! It is nice to relax a little bit now though instead of when I get home because I have a ton of packing to get done, so hopefully by that time I will be all rejuvinated. The 2nd day we went shopping at a place called Camden market which is full of a lot of cool alternative places and a lot of artsy stuff. We both spent a ton more money than we planned on!!! After that which took about 5 or 6 hours, we went back for more yummy home cooked food and then we went to Hard rock for our souviner shot glasses and then in search for the bridge....without a map....which was pointless and we couldnt figure it out so we went back and watched another movie. Today we went on the Royoal London tour, which I can say sucked since I was on this tour when I first came here,so we left the tour and are now at this internet cafe typing this!!! After this we are going to go find a book shop to get some entertainment for our longass flights home, and then we are doing the Old London tour. Then we will go back for a delicious home cooked meal, pack, and watch a movie with George. Tomorrow Susie's flight leaves at 10am, and mine leaves at 12pm. We are both very excited to come home and not feel like a disgusting piece of garbage!

Paris, Île-de-France, France

The first day we got in Paris, we put all of our crap in the room...we were happy to see that we had little cubby holes to sleep in!!! The room was lined with the 6 beds and we had curtains to close over each bed which was quite pointless because they were red and when you turned the lights on, it looked like the sun was out!! It would have been a little more effective to have black curtains!!! At least though people can't see what you are doing under there in your sleep! Anyway the first night we met an adorable Australian girl and invited her to go to Hard Rock with us since french food sucks, and then we went to see the Eiffel Tour. Luckily for me, I saw it already so I wasn't as dissapointed as others when it was still light out so it kind of sucked---I knew it would get better when it was pitch dark out. After that, I finally was able to go see the Pompidou center, which I have been waiting to go see since I did my presentation on that monument in my study abroad orientations. The Pompidou center looked even better in person and was really cool to see the ''inside out'' structure.

The next day we did a free Paris tour because it really was the best way for Susie to see as much of the city as possible in such a short amount of time.....but the tour kind of sucked. They pointed things out that were quite far away so after the tour I took Susie and some strays that decided to follow us to the Musee de Jardin to see the rose gardens, I took her past Invalides and Napoleans Tomb, the park in front of the Eiffel tour which we tried to go up that but the top level was closed, and then I took her to see Notre Dame.

The last day we first went up the Arc de Triumphe which was the best view of the city since it was in the middle of the city, then we went on the Chomps Elysees to do some shopping, and then we went to La Defense because I thought that area was really cool and I wanted Susie to see it and I also wanted to go back to the gigantic mall there!! At night we went and ate at Hard Rock again, then we went on a night boat tour down the Seine River, and then since our pictures were not too great, we went walking down the Seine River and finally ended at a beautiful bridge in front of the Grand Palais and the Petit Palais to watch the Eiffel tour show as our fourth of July fireworks!
