We came back to Rome where we would spend the final days of our vacation. On teh final days, we poked around the Colosseum, Ancient Rome and some amazing Churches. I had the best food I have ever had in my life in Rome, it is an amazing city and I think we picked the perfect time to go.
Our apartment was great, the weather was great, the coffee was incredible...it made for the perfect ladies week in Rome.

We decided it would be worth it to take a daytrip to Venice...a 4 hour ride by train each way on a Saturday. I had heard so many horrible things about Venice so my expectations were extremely low. When we stepped off the train i was excited to explore the city. No cars, not too many people on this saturdy in February and plenty of water. I guess I love any place with this much water. I loved Venice, the horrible smells i had heard about were absent, the monster crowds were dwindled down to normal tourist sized crowds, the water filled with trash was clean and turqouise....was this the same Venice i had heard about? Yeah...probably.....but we picked the right day to go and I loved it!

After a 2 hour flight from London, we arrived in Rome and were greeted by our driver who would take us back to the city and to our apartment. After 22 days of straight work and traveling, this was the first day I had nothing to do but relax and enjoy the travel. The traffic getting into Rome was pretty tough and we got in late due to a plane malfunction (a slice in the tire). When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by Jett, so now the gang was complete, Corinne, Gayle, Jett and Matt..like a bachelorette party in Vegas, this would be the perfect ladies week in Rome.

Corinne and Gaylearoni met me in London on the last day of the tour, this would be the last day of work and the beginning of a short vacation that would bring us from London to Italy and back to Los Angeles. We both got into London on the same day, Me by Ferry and them by British Airways via New York. I had most of the day free before I had to go to work so the 3 of us spent the day roaming around London checkin out some of the major sites.
It was a short stay in London as tomorrow we would be back on a plane to Rome Italy, our final destination

After a long night of travel and 3 weeks of being in a van in Europe, we arrived in London. I thought by the time we hit London i would feel a sense of excitement that we had hit the end and we were "almost there". But by the time we got there, i was honestly way too tired to feel that way. Like one of those guys you hear about that turns away 500 feet from the top of Everest.
But we did the last 2 shows and the final show of the tour was probably the best. I said goodbye to Snowball, (temporarily) and to the guys (temporarily) and they made their way back to the hotel for early flights back to the States. I was sad that it was over...one of the best experiences of my life...I will miss those guys, that van, the music, the fans...but as someone once said...All Things Must Pass

Cologne was the last stop in Germany and we did the show there and drove through the evening straight to London for the final 2 shows of the tour. By this time, I think we were all pretty much ready to be out of Germany.

Rolled into Hamburg...set up a booth...had 20 minutes to run around the city so me and Snowball took a quick walk. We were right in the middle of the Red Light District..

I haven't had much time to do any blogging in Germany as we have played 4 consecutive days and have driven all over the country. Berlin was a pretty intense place...has a very heavy feeling. Luckily the Berlin Wall was across the street from the venue so i got a chance to run over there and capture it...
We played Berlin that night and moved on to the next city, Hamburg!
