Spent two days with my friend Karin. We went on a guided two night tour thru the Highlands from Edinburgh, to loch ness, Skye, Inverness and back to Edinburgh.Picture are better than words. I highly recommend the trip: Haggis Tours Skye High Tour.

i made it. yay. i did spend 3 and a half hours in the train station waiting for sara. something about phones and her arriving from New York to the airport. blah blah blah.oh well, i'm here now and we'll be out and about for the next few days. woohoo.going to skye with karin next week. is all booked. yay. two nights. leaving on the 2nd. returning just in time to meet with the daniels.I love this city.

Rabat, Morocco

leaving Morocco tomorrow. :(said goodbye to the nurses at the hospital today. :( i cried and stuff. they made us tea and food for our *goodbye* party. we exchanged emails and hugs and kisses and that was that. i felt like a total douche for crying in the hospital. it was dolphin boy that started it. i went to say goodbye to him and his mom and he was asleep, like only a little kid can sleep, in his mom's lap. that was enough to set me off. stopped crying on the way to the car and was totally fine when, as we were driving away, callie started crying. jesus. we're a bunch of girls. the head nurse found out my mother is a nurse in california. she asked me, *so, you live in california?* to which i replied *oh, no. I live in Louisiana.* to which she said, with a very, very puzzled look on her face, *then.......who do you live with?* I said *my friend?* and she went silent for a long minute and shrugged her shoulders and went about her business.haha.i went shopping for probably the last time today. got a bunch of stuff to give to peoples. i have post cards i wrote the first week that never got sent. should think about doing that by friday. i had to buy another suitcase to get everything home. should make for interesting travels for the next two weeks. hopefully nothing gets broken.

Chefchaouen, Morocco

Chefchaouen is everything I needed. Callie and I decided on the trip after the disaster of Marrakech. We just wanted to be on our own in a less-touristy place. Chefchaouen was a good choice. The only problems we had were related to weather and my terrible hayfever issues. We even spent a little bit of time in Tetouan while we tried to figure out how to get a taxi to Chefchaouen. We did it on our own and it gave both of us the courage we needed to say *yes! we can travel in a non-english speaking, non-european country and we'll be just fine*. I won't say it was the perfect trip, we had moments here at there but, overall it was a wonderful experience.Everyone who visit Morocco should take the time and the effort to go to Chefchaouen.
