Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

I have now been in Sydney since the 3rd of November 2008... and i love it! I found a job at the Meat & Wine Co, after working in several places around Sydney. I am a waitress there and i enjoy it a lot. Sydney is fantastic, from a traveler's point of view, it has the dynamism and qualities of a big city and the beauty and fascination of nature because just 15 minutes away from the centre, there are beaches, where almost no one goes, many walks to do, parks. Even in the heart of the city, there are parks, many birds on Darling Harbour, beautiful views. It is not a spoilt city, not too much polution, and it is well looked after, very clean. There's everything and a good mix of people from everywhere around the world.

We are in LA and i didn't expect it to be like that at all. So spread out and very poluted, everything takes at least 2 hours by bus to reach something within the centre. Our hostel is very good, near the airport. We spend our first day visiting everything we can, we saw hollywood boulevard, berverly hills, rodeo drive, and the centre. The second day we took a car trip to Neverland, Mickeal Jackson's house. It is located near Santa Monica, it is very beautiful, but it takes like 3 hours to reach, very isolated.All in all i am happy to be leaving the US, not my favourite part of the travels. I am also very excited to get to Australia. We are skipping an entire day because of the time difference. It is going to be a long plane ride but an experience i guess to go through so many time zones.

We are now spending pretty much all our time in buses to make it to the US border. Time has flown and we have to hurry, so we are going from town to town, tonight it is Mazatlan.

Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico

We got a really good deal to get to Tijuana so we jumped on a night bus. This was the last bus ride i will take, i am so so happy not to have to sleep in buses anymore, what a relief! The journey is so long and boring, and i arrive in Tijuana really tired, so the day is not a good one. We stayed three days in Tijuana and it was really good. The town is very touristy and more expensive since it is so closed to the states, many americans can hop down for a day or two i guess.

That's it we are in the states!  Well to me it looks so clean and all the buidings so big and aligned and so organised and waou different! i didn't remember the westernised world being like this, or manybe it is overdone in San Diego cause it is full of wealthy people. It took us 4 hours to find a bed in a hostel, we finally landed on something very good but it was a lot of work! We were all the time running around with our backpacks

Guadalajara, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast, Mexico

It was a bit of a nightmare to get here, we caught a bus in the end of the afternoon, we thought that we would arrive around 23.00 but we arrived at 2am in the Guardalajada and there was no buses to get into the town centre (the bus terminal is to far out) and the taxis too expensive. So we ended up having to wait until 6 in the morning to get the first bu into town and checked in a hotel, that was really nice (we are lucky) and really cheap, and we had a nap the rest of the morning. Afterwards we went into town, we discovered what a beautiful place it is, i really enjoyed it, great covered market, nice wide clean streets with many people and shows, and the buildings are nice and impressive. Mexico is so good!

Mexico City, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast, Mexico

Mexico city is one of the best capital city we stayed in. I am very impressed with the Astecs art, on the main plaza, the indigenous dance all day long, sale their artwork, wash away people´s sins. In the historical centre they is one massive ruin left from the time they lived in Mexico. We have just been strolling around everyday, having a chat to locals and marvelling at the place. We ate today some VERY spicy food. We usually ask without and everyone looks at us with a face saying "are you normal?" but today we got caught and didn´t ask. After one hour, our mouths were still on fire.

Acapulco, Pacific Coast, Mexico

That is a place i will remember. We looked for swimming with dolphins and got a massive discount to do so. We entered a water theme park that offers it, and had an hour in the pool with them: absolutely magic. Dolphins evolved at the same time as us on the geological scale, and it fascinating what they were able to do. They are so so smart and obedient, i was very impressed. I will simply never forget this experience i feel lucky to have realised my dream.That day, swimming with us was the girl wh won the 100 meter hurdles at the last olympic games in Beijing, amazing!!!Acapulco is very nice by the sea side and very messy in the inside, the locals are fun, the markets hectic, the weather hot.
