Okinawa, Japan

For Halloween, Noah was buzzlightyear. He was so excited when we first got it in the mail...then we put it on him and he wasn't too thrilled. He acted like the kid in Christmas Carol with the snow suit on. He wouldn't move.

He just wanted to put all the pieces together like it was a puzzle. Keira on the other hand didn't want to take it off.

On Halloween we finally got the costume on him and he cried for about 15 mins straight but eventually stooped when he figured out we weren't going to take it off of him. He had fun trick-or-treating and would say " thank you for the candy" after every house. One house was giving out matchbox cars and when he got that one he said "Wow, thank you for the car!!" We had to take the costume off after about 30 mins because he was so hot and sweaty. We thought he was about to pass out because he wouldn't walk or talk or anything. After we got the costume off he wanted to go get some more candy and then after a few more houses he jumped up in Jonathon's arms and fell asleep. Maybe next year he will make it through the night.

THE SMALLEST COKE CAN EVER

here are some pics of Noah and Keira's play house/swing set.

Okinawa, Japan

Well the week is over and Jonathon will be heading back to work tomorrow. During his time off we have visited the American village, the Aquarium, swimming, lots of shopping, and lots more. We even took on another dog. A mini long haired dachshund named Max. His family had to be ERD back to the states which is emergency return date. And they couldn't take him back with them. Noah loves him to death, but is a little rough with him. Luke likes him too, when he isn't ignoring him.

The other morning we walked into Noahs room and found a geco running around between his toys. So Jonathon and Noah ran around forever trying to catch it. and when they did the took it out side to let him free and it jump on Noahs face. He started to scream and rub his face and broke the tail off of the geco. It was so funny!
Okinawa, Japan

So, he is finally back!!! When we walked in the door Noah was running to me saying "mommy mommy" then he saw Jonathon standing there and he slowly stepped around the couch as if he wasn't sure if Daddy was real, and slowly walked over to him. Then Jonathon pulled out the lightening McQueen and Mack truck that he had brought back for him and they played all night. But Jonathon found time to pull out a beautiful watch that he had picked up for me. Silver with Diamonds around the face and lining the sides. It was so pretty.

We have been really busy since Jonathon's homecoming, here is a few pictures so show you what we have been up to.
Okinawa, Japan

Noah and I have been really busy, or just keeping ourselves that way. Its pretty hard not having Jonathon here with us but we get to talk to him everyday on the web cam. At the end of the conversation, Noah will say "Ok daddy go to work now" because we told him dad has to go to work for a long time. He is doing pretty good with it tho. Of course he misses him alot and so do I. My laundry seems so much easier to keep done, and my house magically stays clean, but then I find more stuff to do. I really have to hand it to all those single parents out there cause it is really hard. Mom I don't know how you did it, and survied!

Last Saturday, Noah and i went to the grocery store. Being the day after payday, it was PACKED. Between keeping Noah in the cart and pushing past the rude people, i thought i was gonna loose it. We were almost ready to check out after he spilled a whole bag of pretzels in the freezer isle, and we finally escaped the friendly japanese lady who found something new to say to Noah every time we saw her <which was EVERY isle> Then he breaks out with, "Mommys bellybutton, mommys bellybutton" while he is trying to pull up my shirt. I told him to get his own belly button then he found his boobies, and yes he decided to find mine, then he starts yelling{mommys boobies mommys boobies}I wanted to climb into the freezer and stay there! He is definatly at the embaracing age, this is when i wish he wouldnt talk so much.

Other then that we had a good weekend. On Sunday we went to the beach with our friends. Trevor, sams husband, grilled steak, chicken and corn there at the beach, and it was delicious. Today we walked to the park and the swimming pool. We must have walked about 3 miles today! Needless to say, I'm having cookies tonight!!

Okinawa, Japan

No new pictures yet, sorry.

So It's only mid point of the week and already this week sucks. Well not all of it, yesterday Noah decided he wanted to use the potty and he didnt want mommy in there so he shut the door and kept me out. Of course i kept checking on him but when he finaly let me in, he had pooped and peeped in the potty! I was so excited. Hopefully he makes a habit of this.

On the down side of this week, I took Noah to the doctor on Monday, she said she thinks he has asthma and sent us home with an inhaler<which he has used before so im thinkin its asthma too>. But before we got to the doctor that morning we had to drop Jonathon off at work and we had so time to kill so we went to the library which wasnt open yet. As i was getting Noah out of the car all this fluid rushed out from under it, and it looked like antifreeze. On the way to the doctors <which was just around the corner> the car started to over heat. I made it home then had the auto hobby shop come and tow it to check it out.

well they couldnt come to get it till Tuesday, so we wait...and finally they tow it on tuesday and we wait for the phone call, now this is the second time since we bought this car thats this has happend and they suposidly fixed it the first time. they never call on tuesday and i call them they said its not over heating. i was like well did you check anything else? Theres no antifreeze cause it all leaked out. So they said they would check again and we wait.... so today I get a call from Jonathon at work and he said we no longer have a car, it was a headgasket that had blown and it would be $1200 to fix it and we only paid $1600 for it. There is no sence in spending that kind of money on this car. we are junking it.

But listen to how great of a friend i have. They have a van that they bought spur of the moment. The van has had dogs in it before and Samantha's mother in law is allergic to dogs and she is coming to visit soon so they are getting another car. the air conditioner needs minor repairs and they have decided to GIVE us their van. Its a great van and it seats seven people so now we have room for whom ever comes to visit.

I guess the week is turning around for the good. at least i hope so.

I should have some pictures next time.

<3 Krystal
Okinawa, Japan

So today we decided to go to the beach. Araha beach is one of my favorites to take Noah because it's so kid friendly. There is a shipwrecked pirate ship scene that the kids play on, like a jungle gym, complete with a zip line. How cool is that? None of the parks I ever went to had zip lines.

Anyways, so the water there is usually pretty shallow. So much so that Noah can just play on his own while i sit were the water meets the sand and get a tan. But today it was pretty choppy water and definatly NOT low tide. Noah has a life jacket but he still gets pretty brave. He wouldnt let me hold his hand at first but a couple of waves in the face later he changed his mind.

We had a pretty good day, escpecially the part where Noah took a three hour nap.!!!
