Tacoma, Washington, United States

We arrived at Kristin & Brandon's House in time for lunch. What an exciting time to be here for Ethan's 10th birthday on the 12th. We had a delicious meal of grilled steak, potatoes and corn on the cob. Tomorrow we are going to the zoo and then in the evening to a birthday party at a bowling alley.
Ellensburg, Washington, United States

Today we traveled through south eastern Washington to Walla Walla. This is really an interesting area for flat land farmers to see. They raise wheat and canola on hills so steep we would make ski areas out of them. It is unbelievable the steepness of the hills that they farm. Some look like they would be hard to climb up much less drive around "side hilling"

In Walla Walla we delivered a car for Norm O. The man who got the car was clearly excited to get his "new" 1931 Model A.

We stayed a a nice RV park connected to a Days Inn Motel. The spots are level, and tar. It is full hook up for a reasonable price (<30) Nice for an overnight, although some residents are clearly here for the summer.
Haugan, Montana, United States

If you are traveling on I-90 in western Montana Haugan Mt at Mile Marker 16 is a must stop. Haugan is the home of Lincoln's $50000 Saloon. It is a "Wall Drug" like place with Fuel, Motel, Cafe, Gift shop, Casino (6 slots) and Saloon. The Saloon is the unique part. There are more than 50000 dollar coins in the bar top and on the walls. More than 10,000 of them are real silver. It use to be called the 10000 Silver Dollar Saloon but the Lincoln's changed the name this year. They also have free RV camping behind the building and if you are lucky you may get a site with free electricity.

We spent a nice night here. We went into the saloon and had great nachos for dinner and sampled 4 of their several Montana beers. It was a lovely evening. We were boondocking but no problem. We were shaded by the pines in the late afternoon and then in the evening the temperature dropped to 50 degrees. Since we had ALL the windows and vents open, our coach interior was nearly that cool too. GREAT sleeping.

In the morning we bundled up and went in to a hearty breakfast of pancakes, bacon and delicious coffee..

If you are passing by be sure to stop, if for nothing else than to see the 50000+ dollars in the saloon.
Billings, Montana, United States

After a long day of travel we stopped here. This is a nice but tight campground. Especially since we are 61 feet long. We are pulling our 20' car hauler. We traveled across North Dakota with a following wind and got over 10 mpg. We feel pretty smug. This will change as we are now in the hills and then mountains of Montana.
