Jacko was a big hit right a way! The kids were very excited to meet him and play with him!

Our first trip out was to the park by Jim's office. Jacko enjoyed the waterfall and the ducks. We only got a few crazy looks during his 'photo shoot' We took him grocery shopping at Meijers. He got a little annoyed when Emma kept throwing him out of the cart. But Sebastian was happy to share his car seat with him. We took Jacko to our favorite Mexican restaurant (Neurto Vallarta) and he was a big fan of the Nachos Carbon! Jack had fun hanging out around the house. He liked the ball pit and was really into Party Cheese!!

We took Jacko to a pumpkin patch/apple orchard. He was a really good tree climber, considering he has no legs and can not uncross his arms!

We took Jacko to Jim's office. We were going to put him to work to make him earn his keep, but he did not do very well. He was not very good at typing or answering phones since he does not have any movable appendages.

he decided he did not like them and wanted to stay the way he was.

My parents came to visit and we all went out to breakfast there is a pic of Jack with my dad (aka Papa Tee) I did not get a pic of him with my mom. We were so busy all the time I forgot. I was impressed that she new who he was right away. She took one look at him and said is that Jack Osborn!

Christyn and I took Jacko out for Margaritas. We forgot about the whole rehab thing, ooops!!!!

We went to Crossroads Village with my sister and her family. It is a place that has a bunch of old buildings, a steam train, paddle boat, and an old carousel. At Halloween they set it up so you can trick or treat through all the old buildings and the ride the train. Jacko had a great time, but I forgot to get him a Halloween costume!

We had a great time with Jacko. He fit right in with the family and we are all sad to say good bye. But now it is time to send him off for many more adventures!!!!

We picked up Jack O. from Christine (Stine 333) in Columbus, Ohio. We met both Christine and Seleta (Litterbox) at the McDonalds off of I-70. The kids (Christian, Emmalani, Emett, Helena and Henry) had a chance to play together and eat some French fries!

We took Jack home with us, and he immediately went for a bike ride with Christian, Emmalani and Emett. Emmalani had pity on his legless state, and made him a little lego wheelchair to ride in. When not bike riding, he spent his time glaring at us all from the shelf overlooking the kitchen table. He tried to hook up with the dolls in the girls' room, but was ultimately unsuccessful.

A few days later we went to the county fair, and decided to take Jack along. Helena was not at all impressed with Jack, and swatted him away whenever he came near, so C, E and E took him around. They checked out the National Guard Display and a display from the local fired department. Afterwards they all went on a few carnival rides, which Jack enjoyed.


Jack did have one interesting adventure- he went with Christian to an outdoor Cub Scouting event.
While there, Emett convinced dad that Jack had to 'go visit someone else', not realizing that had to be a specific pre-assigned individual. Emett thought it could be 'just anyone'. So, Emett passed Jack off to another mom, who I'm sure thought Jack was quite creepy and odd. When they got home, I asked where Jack was. "We gave him to Ethan's mom", said Emett. "What???!!!", I said.

Needless to say, I was a little freaked out. What if Jack got lost? I called Ethan's mom the next morning and got everything straightened out. I picked up Jack and was able to send him safely on his way to Katey in Michigan.

Bye Jack!! You're one odd little dude!!

Jack left Minnies for Lindsays house in Sarasota Florida! Lindsays daughter Ava (or her husband Dave) didn't like Jack O too much in actual fact he scared them both lol

But he had fun anyway, he went to the Nickelodeon Hotel as well as the aquarium! Here is a slideshow of his fun.

We took Jack downtown with us to run errands. He was a great help and just loved soaking in all the local culture. LOL Here's the Charlotte mural, located behind our IGA grocery store on the way down town. (Pic 1)

No visit to downtown Charlotte is complete without stopping in for a bite to eat at the Eaton Place (Pic 5)

There's nothing like eating lunch surrounded by dead animals. Jack LOVED it!!! (Pic 6) This is the bear and mountain goat. They also have a deer, moose, ram, and gazelle, and some other thing that I can't figure out. I found out just a few days ago they are actually hunted down by a local Charlotte man. Charming huh? LMBO In all honesty it's our favorite place to eat (Like all the people in Eaton County apparently), and I actually recommend it, if your into that small town diner type thing.


Finally it was time for Jack O to leave..

This Morning when Eric asked "what we doin' today?"
I told him we get to walk to the post office and send Jack to Lindsay and Ava.
He was very excited, but asked "Why does Jack have to leave?"
So I explained all about how it works and how much fun people will have meeting Jack, and all was well.

Meanwhile,
We go grocery shopping, and do this and that, have lunch and then it's time to go to the post office (we still haven't gone LOL)
and Eric starts bawling and sobbing over Jack. Poor Eric!

So he is now on his way to Florida!

It's too bad he didn't show up just a few days earlier, I could have took him to Indianapolis with us.

He's just stuck with our boring everyday lives now, poor guy. But he and I did have a lot of fun in the shower together

Jack is a great babysitter. He was on duty all night and never even complained. (see my lucky Chicago penny I made at Navy Pier? It's stays on my windowsill always) (Pic 4)

In the morning we went to Meijer as promised and
Jack met our Pharmacist! He was a little leery about posing with Jack at first and wondered where his picture was going to end up, but eventually he gave in.

Perth, Australia

Well we are having a ball with Jack! I took him to work and showed him around. I work in a family business so he got to meet one of my dad, brothers and my sister, as well as my nanna, the boys out the back also got in with a photos.

We then took him on a quick trip of Perth, Dan and I went to dinner at the C restaurant in Perth city, it is a revolving restaurant in one of the tallest buildings in Perth. We got to have some 360 degree views of the city as well as seeing some of the Perth sites. We took this opportunity to also go to the Belltower and take a photo on the Swan River.

The next weekend we went to Amy (mikis mum's) house to have dinner, so I couldn't resist taking Jack to visit Miki and Amy, Miki pretty much didn't know what to do with him haha, but he got some IRD time with us before going home.

I have just posted him to the next IRD member to receive him, Amanda from Richmond Kentucky! I am pretty sad to see him go, but he is off now representing IRD and hopefully bringing a few smiles along the way!
