Wow!
It has been the first trip of this kind, but it will not be the last!
See you soon on this blog again.
Cuzco, Peru

That`s the last "adventure" of my trip ... a nice epilogue! I've been hiking for 42 km at an altitude of 3000 m to 4000 m over see level on a very bad trek and as I had no time instead of 3.5 I did in 2.5 (rainy) days ... challenging, but that's what I like. It has been very nice - seeing many Inca places on the way, enjoying an amazing landscape (despite the weather) and at the end visiting the Machu Picchu and being there before anybody else ... recommendable.
Uyuni, Bolivia

Just amazing - anybody gets crazy here. The scenery is unique and so special, that anybody would start taking pictures in the most disparate and funny positions. You can just sit down and enjoy the show of the tourists, that is better than any circus. It's definitely worth a trip and the best is to visit it on the way from Bolivia to Chile.
Puno, Peru

Bbbrrrr! after more than 3 months in t-shirts I have for the first time to wear a pullover. It's freezing cold and rainy - no wonder, it's the rain season over here! I travel from La Paz via Copacabana (on the Titikaka lake) to Puno in Perù. Puno is probably the most ugly city on the lake and the main attraction here are the floating islands ... but this is a pure tourist trap! Let's move on to Cuzco.
La Paz, Bolivia

Other than being the highest capital city in the world, there is not much to see. There are almost no historical buildings left and the "new ones" are not really see-worthy. Only the people look "funny", like if they got out of a post card. 1 Day here is more than enough to organize the next excursions.
Puerto Ayora, Ecuador

What an experience! I´ve been out at sea for 8 days diving every day in the different islands of the Galapagos Archipelago and it was fantastic. We saw everything! Hammerheads sharks, whale sharks, of course white and black tip sharks, galapagos sharks, mantas, every kind of ray, turtles, sea lions, killer whales and much more. If you like animals and dive, you have to get to the Galapagos once in your life.
There is police everywhere also at night - definitely no risk. The old city (the most dangerous area??!!) is very nice with many old buildings and churches in very good shape... but one day is enough to visit everything.
