Well nothing has changed since the last entry, and thats because we have been focusing on our impending 10 year reunion trip to Trier, Germany. We fly out tomorrow morning and back home on Monday afternnoon. We will be staying at the Park Plaza Hotel in the city center. Its a nice place, stayed there a couple of times before. Its biggest plus is that it is right in the heart of the city.

And its the Altstadtfest in Trier this weekend, so looking forward to that. I am bringing the ipod with me to keep notes so I can post any updates.

Still a couple of weeks to go and we have nothing booked yet, well we have the flights booked so thats a start. Plan at the moment (note this is subject to change!!) is to overnight in Orlando when we arrive. We arrive about 11.30pm so that day is all but wasted. Wake up bright an early the next day and head to the car rental place. Get a car and head south east to Fort Lauderdale. We plan on staying here for about 5 days and hopefully include a day trip to The Bahamas and to Miami. We picked Fort Lauderdale as it is within easy reach of Miami. By chance we found that you can do day trip mini cruises to The Bahamas, so that sounds like a plan.

Then the Saturday and Sunday we will drive down Highway 1 to Key West at the end of the Florida Keys. Then back up to Orlando to spend the week going on rollercoasters. And no doubt a day/half day in the outlet centres stocking up on cheap clothes that would cost a fortune back home.
But as I said, it is only a plan at the moment and will probably be different again tomorrow.
