Doah, Qatar

One of the nice things about the desert is the dunes. Walls of pure sand as far as the eye can see. We loaded up in a 4 wheel drive and took off up and down the dunes. It was like a rollercoaster. Then we enjoyed a concert at the base of the dunes and we climbed to the top to watch the concert below from the top of the dune.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Being so close to the U.A.E. I had to visit the amazing city of Dubai. Dubai is renown for having the nicest hotel in the world the Burj Al Arab. I beautiful hotel off the coast. It cost over $2000 per night and up for one night. Dubai also has some amazing housing developments built off the coast line as well as a chain of islands that resemble the world. You can purchase your own private island that resembles a particular country. While there we also went skiing in Ski Dubai a giant structure built next to the Emirates Mall that has real snow. It was really amazing. Check out the pictures.
Banos, Ecuador, Ecuador

As many of you know, and some dont...i am down in South America right now on vacation. Without much planning or thinking I just booked a flight to Quito Ecuador and a return flight to Houston from Santiago, Chile a month later. I figured I would figure out the details as I went along. Right now I am in a small village in Ecuador called Banos. It is really a nice and exciting little place with lots of tourists. It is based at the bottom of a live volcano which I am going to watch erupt this evening. The volcano actually has small eruptions daily. It should be quite a site...one that I have never seen before. Tomorrow I am taking the bus back to Quito and flying on to Peru. Just wanted to give you all a small update...sorry for not including any pictures. They will come later.
