<i>"You know the Greeks didn't write obituaries. They only asked one question after a man died: "Did he have passion?". "From the movie "Serendipity".A lot of people are pissed off at me for posting my "obituary" on facebook the other day. Put the title "obituary" on a note and people automatically jump to the conclusion that you're dead. Nowhere are those words written in the "note", but we love jumping to conclusions without actually reading the written words and putting the words into context. A logical mind would have started off with an "Oh my God" continued reading, started questioning the meaning and should have arrived at the conclusion that it was creative way of writing a Halloween Party invitation. Why else would the "Celebration"/wake/resurrection/party start at 8 PM on a Saturday night that just happens to be Halloween. Could I have actually died? Yes. But would someone in my family actually post an obituary on MY facebook account and change my status (ie. What's on my mind) to Paul Fisette has passed on....?I'm not very original. My thoughts and ideas have usually been used before. In the 60's there were rumours of Paul McCartney's death on the Abbey Road album. They floated around for quite a while. Then the following comes from the movie "Serendipity". <i>"Jonathan Trager, prominent television producer for ESPN, died last night from complications of losing his soul mate and his fiancee. He was 35 years old. Soft-spoken and obsessive, Trager never looked the part of a hopeless romantic. But, in the final days of his life, he revealed an unknown side of his psyche. This hidden quasi-Jungian persona surfaced during the Agatha Christie-like pursuit of his long reputed soul mate, a woman whom he only spent a few precious hours with. Sadly, the protracted search ended late Saturday night in complete and utter failure. Yet even in certain defeat, the courageous Trager secretly clung to the belief that life is not merely a series of meaningless accidents or coincidences. Uh-uh. But rather, its a tapestry of events that culminate in an exquisite, sublime plan. I honestly believe that we should all write our own obituaries. Who better understands and knows what defined us while we were living then our own self?Some people would consider writing your own obituary as morbid. But Why?&nbsp; Why is dying so morbid when all religions and spiritualists state that there's something so amazing awaiting us in the hereafter? I never did write about "fake faith" but that is what most people have. Why do we fear so many things in life, from dying to having our car stolen? We fear about the safety of our loved ones and are sad when someone we know passes on (actually dies). But why? If someone you know "moves-on" to a new city for a job you're usually happy for them and you go out and celebrate. The new job could be "the job from hell", but we expect it to be better. We congratulate people for buying a new house or car because we expect these things to be better, but what if they're just money pits of repairs? Instead of mourning the passing on of someone we should be celebrating because it means that that person has accomplished what they were put on this earth to do and that means that we are that much closer to arriving at the end of times, or, Heaven on Earth. We all find autumn a sad, but usually, beautiful time of year. Except when winter comes too early and the leaves don't have the time to turn their amazing reds and oranges and just hang on the branches in a dried up, frozen and dull gray state (like this year). Without fall we wouldn't have spring and it's renewal. It's the same with our soul. I have faith in what I am doing and know (in my soul) that a renewal is just around the corner. I did have to die so that I can resurrect at a higher place. My "obituary" served a purpose that will be revealed at some point in time in the future. It did serve a purpose at this time too. A question for those who did "freak out" from seeing my obituary. In it I wrote of my resurrection. Some of those people are quite religious and believe in Christ's resurrection. Is it so impossible to believe that someone else could do the same in modern times?Ponder that for a while.<i>"Fear not what you do not know for what you do not know can be the greatest thing ever known."

I've been "home" for over 2 weeks and, other then cleaning out and winterizing my trailer, going to a potluck dinner, going to an Air Cadet meeting, meeting new people and chatting with friends, all that I've felt like doing is sleep, watch movies and write my obituary (more on that later).Every day I would drag myself out of bed and wander over to the computer to finish writing my blog entries and my mind would go blank. I knew what to write. I had been awake half the night writing my blog out in my mind. But as soon as I sat down to write I had nothing but a blank mind. So I'd go watch a movie. I had very little energy to do anything.I started writing my Part III of Faith entry, had to leave for something and then came to the realization that it would be a waste of time to write it. I write all this stuff and demonstrate the path to take to enlightenment but it's all for naught. It might make for some interesting reading, it does inspire a few of you, but giving the final summary about faith doesn't help anyone actually get it. The only way to get it is to go out there and experience life. NOT live life...EXPERIENCE life.All the theory in the world is nice, but, knowing theory is different then doing. You don't learn to be a virtuoso musician by reading about an instrument. It takes hours and years of practice. The same can be said about faith. Go out and acquire it. Practice it. Use it. Learn from it. I've provided the basics and a few points to ponder, do more research on, or just wonder where I might have been going with the ideas listed.My stop in Winnipeg, my trip home, what I HAVE done since I got back will remain forever undocumented. Lots of interesting stuff happened. The "missing chapter" or the "lost episodes" of Paul's life are etched in my mind, but nowhere else but in the minds of those who were part of those episodes.Playing catch-up in life is hard to do and sometimes we all need to take the short-cut.Though I won't write about the missing parts, I did end up at Lake Louise one day (with a new acquaintance from the Netherlands) and took some pictures (and so, I've posted a few of those).Since I've had a hard time motivating myself to write these days, I went for a walk today and was inspired to write my obituary. Why? Spiritually, I've moved on to a higher level from this journey. So, today I wrote an obituary for my spirit moving on and posted it on my Facebook account. When a spirit moves on it resurrects itself at a higher frequency. I plan on having a Celebration for my spirit moving on and for it's resurrection on Halloween in 2 weeks.&nbsp; I'm still alive and kicking, but here is my "obituary". Paul Laurent Joseph Fisette April 17, 1963 – October 17, 2009 Born: Saint-Boniface, Manitoba Passed-on: Calgary, AlbertaInternationally known Calgary author, photographer and Dream Catcher, Paul Fisette passed away peacefully during the night of October 16th at his house in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at the age of 46 ½ . The sudden, but not unexpected, passing was due to an extreme increase in his internal vibration level after a 3 year spiritual quest. He will be missed by his 4 children, Katrine (23), Rhéline (22), Nicholas (19), and Alexis (15). His first wife, Barbara (Marion), deceased in 1990 and leaves his ex-wife, Louise (Bisson), as well as his father and mother, Stan and Irene, sister, Ilene (Trudel), and brother, Roland all of Winnipeg, Manitoba as well as his sister, Murielle (Hanna), in Nanaimo, British Columbia.We shouldn’t mourn his passing as, in his resurrection, he will accomplish much more then he could have in this past life. He would much prefer a Celebration to mark his passing.Paul spent his life in service of others. He will be remembered for the countless hours chauffeuring friends around after theatre practices during his high school years at Collège Secondaire de Saint-Boniface as well as for his tireless technical assistance during those same theatre performances. He was loved by all during those high school years, especially by all those girls whose heart he broke. He volunteered countless hours for the parishes he attended on their financial committees and with the Knights of Columbus. He might best be remembered by the Air Cadet League of Alberta for his dedication to this youth program, first, as a Squadron Treasurer and Chairman, League Representative, and on to their Provincial fundraising coordinator. Some would say that he was a volunteer addict.Married, widowed, re-married, and divorced, he dedicated himself to his children. Brilliant, caring and successful, he was extremely proud of all their accomplishments. Katrine, international Gold Medal winner at the 2007 Winter Universiade and geophysicist, Rhéline, animal lover, world traveler, and currently studying to be an anthropologist, Nicholas, dedicating his life to serving his country, currently at the Royal Military College studying Aeronautical Engineering, and his youngest, Alexis, dancer extraordinaire, thoughtful and caring, with a dream of one day being a famous actress with a chain of dance studios for the less fortunate. Not satisfied with playing a small role in making a difference in the world, Paul embarked on a mission to change the world in a big way. Quitting his job of 20 years working as a Federal Government Auditor, he started traveling the world with a goal of unravelling the mysteries of life. His goal was to no longer just live life, but to fully experience it. His first 8 month journey took him to the 4 corners (approximately) of the United States and Canada where he knows he found the answer to that age old question, What? Is! The Meaning of Life. Peace and Grace was what he found on that isolated Vancouver Island seashore. That journey, now documented in his book, of that same title, he then embarked on a solo 2 month motorcycle journey through Northern Europe. These journeys allowed him to not only experience life as it should be, but allowed him to document his spiritual progression with words and photos for all to see. His purpose, now clear to him, was to show the world the path to follow to allow humanity to accomplish its destiny. His last journey, through Eastern Canada, provided him with the knowledge and the experiences he required to allow him to arrive at a place very few before him have known. Unable to continue his present life with this knowledge he sacrificed himself for the greater good of humanity.No, we must not mourn the passing of Paul Fisette, as he had no regrets with the life he did live. He touched the lives of many and in doing so, made a difference for all those individuals. Paul loved, cared for, and dedicated his life to showing how compassion, love, and the service to others would allow an individual to accomplish anything they wanted in life. In all aspects, this life was a success. Paul’s past life may be over, but it will be in his resurrection that he will finally accomplish his reason for living. He will demonstrate that his purpose in life was to show humanity that we can all do the same. That is, we can all live an eternal life on earth of Peace, Love and Truth by&nbsp; loving each other and by helping one and all. Part IV in my three part series on Faith.A week ago I wrote my entry on "Helping a friend in need". Monique made a comment and wrote her own blog entry about faith. That entry provided the fodder I required to summarize my thoughts and experiences on faith. I've been reading “The Marriage of Sense and Soul” by Ken Wilber since I borrowed it from Professor S in Newfoundland. It’s been a slow read as I’ve also been reading Raoul Auclair’s “La Dame de tous les Peuples”. At the beginning of this trip I had been reading Robert Pirsig’s “Lila”. All these books, plus Monique’s blog, gave me information I required to arrive at the following.What is the difference between having confidence, conviction and/or faith in something, someone, or oneself?In “The Marriage of Sense and Soul”, Ken Wilber does an analysis to tie Religion and Science together. He reviews the various analyses’ that the great philosophers of the past have done and how they seem to have missed their mark but he also sees where they have all, mostly, found a link. A while back I wrote that while visiting the Chapel at Spiri-Maria in Lac Etchemin I saw something that “boggled my mind”. On the wall of the Chapel was this giant egg shaped depiction of life. My “simplified version” is of a dart board with concentric rings. The center “bulls-eye” is man, the middle ring is mind, and the outer ring is spirit. Why this “boggled my mind” was that a few days prior to that visit I had seen a similar depiction in the book by Ken Wilbur. The timing was uncanny.(What follows are my notes/reminders that I was using to write this entry. In my mind I had taken all this information and written a beautiful summary about faith.
