We shop and get really to go to the Cotton Bowl Game tomorrow morning. The game is not until 1-2-06, but half the fun is the tailgating.

We arrive at the perfect time, park the motorhome and settle in. There are Alabama fans everywhere! Texas Tech fans finally start to pull in. Alabama fans are the king of tailgating...I think they do this quite often.

We go to the pep rally and parade that night, grill some fajitas, the boys pick up a football game, it's a good night.

Tech loses the game. We leave after a few hours to go back to Mitch's house.
Sometown, Mississippi, United States

We have spent the night in northern Florida and continue on our journey back to Texas. When we drove through Florida,a few weeks ago, in the southern parts, we saw quite a bit hurricane damage cleanup going on. As we are now driving through Mississippi we see tons of FEMA trailers just being stored, a lot of trash on the sides of the road from hurricane Katrina and damage everywhere. It is a sight that makes us think, just think.
The FEMA trailers aren't being used and we call a friend, his company is still building them??? And we are paying for hotels?? Anyway enough about this!

We stay north of New Orleans to spend the night.
As we are driving our oldest shouts out,"There's an alligator on the side of the road." We all start looking... we end up seeing over a hundred gators, anywhere from three feet to huge. They are just sunny themselves along side of the swamp, which is on the ride of the road. There is no shoulder just swamp and gators. Pretty cool to see!
They bring their fifth wheel and we are next to them in our rig. The week is made up of Baseball games daily at 1:05, swimming in the pool, riding bikes, picking lemons and eating.

At each game the boys are off catching foul balls and free t-shirts that are flung with rubberband. They bring home about a dozen foul balls. I sit, watch the games, eat peanuts, and keep score...and am holder of all(foul balls, shirts, candy, peanuts, etc.)

It's a great week, if you haven't gone to watch this annual event. It continues through all of March. The Grand Floridian would remind you of the Hotel Del Coronado. Then it's to Magic Kingdom(my favorite). As you enter the Main Street, USA is decorated so incredible...I have ideas for next year. The boys ride Space Mountain, Indy Speedway...my old favorite and now Parker's.

Day 4

We leave the Wonderful World of Disney and head to Universal Studios/Island of Adventure. Charleston, South Carolina, United States

Day 1

Beautiful Charleston, South Carolina... We take a carriage ride to see the city. It is a beautiful town. It would kind of remind you of New Orleans. It was interesting to us the different versions of history we keep hearing. I guess it is whether you live in the north of the south or what may be important to you! We have a yummy seafood dinner and retire home.

Day 2

Connor has been fishing again, in the lake that says do not feed the alligators. He catches a bass?

We head out to see the Navy's battleship, submarine, air craft carrier and coast guard(I'll get these names to you soon)VERY, VERY INteresting for the boys and all!!
