Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

POLSKI:Zla pogoda zaczela sie 12go pazdziernika. Bujalo statkiem przez caly dzien, 90% ludzi mialo chorobe morska. Ja nie mialam. Nie moglismy doplynac do portu, zajelo nam to cala wiecznosc. Zamiast 6 rano, bylismy tam o 1.30 po poludniu... Woda wybila okna w 3 kabinach pasazerskich, powaznie ranila kilka osob. Wszyscy musielismy poradzic sobie z sytuacja kryzysowa, po raz pierwszy w historii tego statku. Najsmieszniejsze jest to, ze gdy to wszystko sie dzialo, CNN podalo w wiadomosciach, ze Brilliance of the Seas tonie, lol! Uspokajam wszystkich, to nie jest Titanic, mamy drzwi wodoodporne itp., wiec za duzo wody nie dostalo sie do srodka. Ale wygladalo to troche przerazajaco. Dobra strona tych wszystkich wydarzen byl fakt, ze spedzilismy cala noc w Barcelonie... I to byl dzien kiedy moja przyjaciolka Ania przyjechala do mnie na rejs :)ENGLISH:The bad weather started on the 12th Oct. The ship was rocky all day long, 90% of the people were sea sick - I wasn`t. We couldn`t dock, it took us forever toget from the sea to the port - instead of 6 am we were there at1.30pm... The water broke windows in 3 guests cabins, had siriously hurta few of them. We all had to handle an emergency situation for thefirst time in the history of this ship. The funniest thing is that whenall that was happening, the CNN had said in the news that Brilliance wassinking, LOL! Well, this is NOT a Titanic, we have watertight door etcthus not too much of water got through. But it looked a little scary.The good side of it was the fact that eventually we had an overninghtin Barcelona... And that was the day when one of my best friends Ania came to cruise with me  :)

Monaco, Monaco

POLSKI:Ile razy bylismy w uroczym miasteczku Villefranche na francuskim Lazurowym Wybrzezu, tyle razy chcialam pojechac do Monaco. Moj grafik jednak mi na to nie pozwalal. Tym razem spielam sie w czasie i zaraz po porannej pracy pobieglam na dworzec kolejowy. Pociag do Monte Carlo, w obie strony, kosztowal mnie cale 5 Euro, a jazda trwala 15-20 minut. Widoki sliczne, ale najlepsza byla jednak Starowka Monte Carlo oraz samochody. Chryyste! Cuda! I jeszcze zatrzymywaly sie, zeby Cie przepuscic - zanim nawet zdazylas dojsc do pasow. Mialam bardzo malo czasu, ale to, co zobaczylam, przekonalo mnie, ze to nie moj ostatni raz w Ksiestwie Monako.ENGLISH:Every time we were in the picturesque town of Villefranche in the French Azur Coast, I always wanted to travel to Monaco. My schedule though wouldn`t let me do it. That day I managed with the time and straight after the morning shift I ran to the railway station. The return ticket to Monte Carlo was only 5 Euros, and the journey last 15-20 minutes. The views were gorgeous, but the best one was the old town of Monte Carlo and it`s cars. Jeeez! Amazing! Moreover, they would stop in order to let you pass through  - before you even got to zebra. I had a very limited time, but the things I saw there made me convinced it was not my last time in Monaco.

Split, Croatia

When we arrived with the tender to the beautiful land of Croatia and my crazy cabin mate Mili, said:"I feel like I`m coming home..". Nevermind Mili is Serbian hehe. We were shooting the gangway like crazy, were off to see Split already before 11. We roamed around this cute town, went to eat lunch in the local restaurant. I had <i>Karlovacke pivo (local beer) and <i>domacka kelbasica (the home made sausage). Mmmm yumminess! We did some Croatian goodies from the supermarket - it took us a whiletofind an opened one,since it was Sunday.Afterwards,stuffed and happy, we took a tender back to the ship.

POLSKI:Niektorzy z Was pytaja mnie, czemu nie dostaja zadnych wiesci na travel blogu. Wszystko rozbija sie o czas, a raczej jego brak. Czasami po protu zyje chwila obecna,zamiast pisac na blogu. Ale pamietam o Was wszystkich. I obiecuje, ze powoli i systematycznie bede uzupelniac wejcia. Niektore, jak to tutaj, zalegaja mi od niemal roku. Czas to zmienic :).St. Marteen, tudziez St.Martin, to mala karaibska wyspa, byla kolonia holenderska. Sa tu plaze, lazurowa woda i... tania elektronika. Tamtego dnia kupilam sobie pierwsze "szklo" - i bylam przeszczesliwa. A potem bieg na statek i powrot do pracy - ledwo zdazylam na czas...:)ENGLISH:Some of you are asking me, why you haven`t got any news from my blog. It`s all about the time, or rather the lackof it. SOmetimes I just live here&amp;now,instead of updating my blog. But I remember about all of you. And promise, I`ll be updating new entries. Some of them, like this one here, I should have written almost a year ago. It`s about the time to change it :).St. Marteen, or St.Martin,is a small caribbean island, former Dutch colony. You`ll find here the beaches, lazur water and... cheap electronics. That day I bought my very first lens - and it made me feel so happy. Afterwards I had to run back to the ship - I barely made it on time... :)

Cairo, Egypt

It was another tour in Egypt I went to. As always, I was taking pictures of the guests under the pyramids and then the Sphinx. There was this local girl, maybe 12-year-old, that was selling some jewellery or something. She was trying to pay my attention, but I was just struggling to manage with the time and shoot as many guests under the Sphinx as possible. And she kept asking:"whats your name, what`s your name, what`s your name?". At the same time she covered with her hand my camera`s flash a few times so I had to repeat the picture. I said to her: "You see - you`re working, but I am working as well. Lets not give a hard time to each other and let me do my job, huh?. But she wouldn`t listen. She kept asking "whats your name" and when she tried to cover my flash again, I couldn`t hold myself any longer and blew up: "My name is OFF, F*** OFF!!!". It worked, she walked away. I have no idea where did it come from. Later on I felt really bad for the girl. She might have been forced by her parents to sell souvenirs in front of the pyramids, I looked exotic to her so she tried to pay my attention. And "what`s your name" was probably the only English words she knew. From the other hand, I gave her a chance. One of the guests said to me, after I was trying to explain what happened:"I thought it was wonderful!"We headed to the Nile river where we... had our lunch. We hopped on the boats and watched the shows the locals prepared for us. Especially the guy spinning the circle was pretty damn amazing.If not the morning accident, the tour would have been wonderful, but oh well. I`d been to the pyramids at least 3 or 4 times by then and started getting bored as well. Thank God I was sent to differet tours all the time.

Casablanca, Morocco

POLSKI:To byl piekny,sloneczny dzien. I chyba pierwszy raz, gdy ani nie musialam jechac w Maroko na wycieczke, ani nie przespalam czasu wolnego w kabinie. Zamiast tego, poszlam z moja filipinska mafia :o) na spacer po miescie. Nie zachwycilam sie, ale spedzilismy milo czas. Najlepsze z calego dnia byly lody hehe. Polecam je wszystkim!ENGLISH:It was a beautiful, sunny day. And I guess the first time when I neither didn`t have to go on a tour with the guests, or slept in the cabin during my time off. Instead, I went with my Filippino mafia :o) for a little wander around the town. I wasn`t amazed by it, but we had a good time. From the whole day the best was the ice cream we had hehe. I can recommend it to eveyone!

Opole, Southern Poland, Poland

This entry is an actual email I wrote to somebody, but it came out so well that I decided to edit it a little bit put it here as an entry. I hope you won`t get mad, darling.Iam home at the moment, have had the busiest time ever lately. It`s beensoo manic! And guess what, I`m going back to the Brilliance tomorrow! I workedlike a dog this vacation, didn`t really have time to relax, as Iwrote my Masters thesis and got my Masters degree - all of it in 1,5month!!!! It was absolutely insane, I was working all nights long, thensleeping until noon, working, eating, blaaaah. I didn`t even have timeto enjoy with my friends, but hey ho.&nbsp;Although, I managed to go for 11days of my holiday - to Switzerlandand province of France - and Ipurposely did not check my email and had my cell phone switched offduring that time. That was the only moment when I could breath thefresh air and save the energy for my upcoming contract. I loved thattime absolutely, had a blast and cleared my mind and soul up.I came back home now for less than a week and still found some familyobstacles I have to deal with, at the last moment... All I can say is Ihave no words for my father any longer. Thus, Iwill be going to the ship really stressed out. And I`m so scared how ismy Mum going to deal with this stuff by herself :(.I`ll be flying to Barcelona tojoin the ship onTuesday. Honestly, I`m scared a lot, `cos all the team Iused to work with is gone now, all the people will be new to me. Only 3 guys, all of them were new when I was leaving, now theywillbe the only people in the team I know. I am pretty excited about theitinerary of the ship, since I love Italy and the Greek isles.It`sbeen a good contract, I went through a lot. Counting the good and thebad sides, there were more of those good ones. Next vacation, which is gonna happen in about 6 months, probably in January, I wanna gosomewhere further, maybe South East Asia or even Australia,and spendit totally relaxing and travelling. Lets see if the plan works out; ifI wanna do it, I will need to save up enough of money.Anyway, I should get back to packing now. Hasta la vista, as the Spaniards would say!

Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands

Zycie na statku jest zupelnie inne niz w domu. Szybko zzywasz sie zludzmi, bo musisz miec w kims oparcie, zeby przetrwac 6 miesiecy z dalaod rodziny i przyjaciol. Zawsze gdy jestesmy w porcie, staramy siewyjsc i pooddychac innym niz statkowym powietrzem. Czasami strasznienam sie nie chce, bo po porannej pracy odczuwasz zmeczenie, alepojdziesz na spacer po miescie i lepiej sie czujesz. Koncze pracepozno, zwykle miedzy 23:30 a polnoca. Po calym dniu mozg musi ciodpoczac, nie da rady zaraz isc spac. Albo siedzimy i rozmawiamy wkabinie, albo pomagam w laboratorium&nbsp;drukowac zdjecia, albo ogladamyjakis film, tudziez idziemy na silownie lub pograc w kosza. Potemrobimy sie glodni, wiec heja dawaj na stolowke lub robimy zupki kuksu wkabinie. No i robi sie godzina gdzies miedzy 2:30 a 4ta... A czasem juzo 6:15 musze byc na nogach. Dlatego po poludniu przewaznie spie,minimum godzine. Potem powrot do pracy. I tak w kolko. Ale nie jestzle. Mam wsparcie od ludzi i czesto zartujemy, wyglupiamy sie, zebyrozladowac stres w pracy.Ogolnie to wszystko opiera sie o ludzi, glownie robie hang out zFilipinczykami, sa swietni i ciagle sie przy nich smieje. Nawetpodlapalam pare wyrazen w ich jezyku (tagalo), i razem mamy zajawke.Dla chlopcow jestem ramieniem, na ktorym placza zadziewczynami/zonami/itp. I zgadnij co? Juz wiem, ze na nastepnykontrakt (pocz lipca) wracam na ten sam statek&nbsp;- beda Wlochy, LazuroweWybrzeze, Chorwacja, ZTUrcja, greckie wyspy.Dostalam wspanialy komentarz od jednej z pasazerek, napisala listo mnie do dyrektora rejsu. I wlasnie sie dowiedzialam, ze dostane za tonagrode - jeszcze nie wiem jaka. W sumie nic takiego nie zrobilam, poprostu wykonywalam swoja prace. Pomoglam tej Pani naprawic aparat iwypalic plyte z zdjeciami, a ona oznajmila o tym calemu swiatu :P.A Malaga jestem zauroczona. Sliczne miejsce. Zreszta, zapraszam do lektury zdjec.

Morze Srodziemne ma piekne miejsca. Ciesze sie, ze rejsuje wlasnietutaj, bo to nie Europa (tudziez Afryka)&nbsp;kontynentalna, tylko raczejwyspiarska - inaczej niz morzem lub powietrzem, dotrzec siegdzieniegdzie nie da. Swieta byly, szczerze mowiac, do&nbsp;niczego. Co toza swieta, poza domem i bez przyjaciol? W Nowy Rok pracowalam do 1:30 wnocy, potem poszlam na impreze zalogi, ale nie przepadam za tlumem 800osob wokol mnie. Zupelnie inna atmosfera niz na spotkaniach z Taize.Brakowalo mi tego.Praca fotografa idzie mi calkiem dobrze. Moj szef odkryl, ze nawycieczkach (pasazerowie moga opcjonalnie wykupic wycieczke w niemalkazdym porcie) robie najwiecej zdjec ze wszystkich, wiec zaczal mniewysylac na wiecej tripow ;) To oznacza, ze spie mniej (wycieczki trwajapo kilka-kilkanascie godzin), ale widze wiecej - za darmo.Ostatnio,&nbsp;kilka dni temu, bylam w Egipcie. Poza piramidami i&nbsp;Sfinksem,jezdzilismy jeepami po Saharze i wracalismy na wielbladach :D Ale bylafrajda! A Maroko? Tez ciekawe. Troche mniej szalony kraj od Egiptu, ale tez nie maja piramid hehe. Ogolnie, troche sie zawiodlam.
