Hallo

This was my last day here in KL so I got up at 6.30 and after breakfast I went to the Petronas Towers and joined the queue for the lift to up to the sky-bridge. After 1,5 hours I got a ticket and lucky one for immediately access, people behind me had to wait for more then one hour. We watch a film about the company Petronas and then we took the lift up to the 41st-floor 170m above ground the sky-bridge nice view and after 10 min we had to go down again.
After that I went back to Bukit Bintang and had an early lunch in the Woods Bio Market a vegetarian Restaurant very nice and excellent food I had:
After a short siesta went to Bukit Nanas a forest reserve in the middle of KL. I did all the trails but it was so hot and humid I could walk only very slow and was sweating a lot. From there I took a train to Masjid Jamek LRT and started a walk from the Lonely Planet Guidebook. The start was at the Merdeka Square which was a cricket field and has a huge flagpole at one end with the Malaysian flag which was first raised on 31.08.1957.


Walking further on I passed mosque and went in quickly and got told of cos you where only aloud to walk around I was woundering if it was because some of the believer where sleeping instead of preying.


Then I reached Little India an area with lots of Indian and lots of vegetarian Restaurants a paradise for me.
After a little Indian supper I went on the monorail station and I felt pretty much exhausted because despite a little rain it was still very hot so took refuge in an air condition Internet Cafe.

After that a Lebanese dinner and now I am going to bed soon my flight back to London goes at 11.

That was a very nice one month in Southeast Asia I almost enjoyed very day but I one way I am looking forward to go back to Europe.

HALLO

nothing special happened today I spend most of it traveling from Siem Reap to KL with a stop over in Phnom Penh. In the evening I arrived here in KL it is nice and warm 31 degrees and sunny. I manged to give my bike to Malaysia Airways Cargo and it should be on a plane back to London tomorrow and so hopefully it will arrive before me. I am staying a fairly nice and posh hotel and had a nice dinner in an Indian restaurant it is much cheaper here then in Siem Reap in Cambodia.

Hello

Today we had a relaxing day after breakfast we went on a boats trip it was a sunny day when we started. The first stop was in front of an island where we swam and snorkeled very nice, clean and warm water. After that we to another island with a nice and sandy beach we swam again and our guide was preparing the lunch, he had his kitchen right on the beach and after one hour we got some rice and for the vegi fried tofu, salad and bananas and lychee for dessert. After that I had a sleep on the beach and in the afternoon we to another island for a beer or coconut in my case. One hours later we had to go back and there were dark clouds on the sky and it looked like rain and after one hour on the boat it started to rain quite heavily so we stand all in the middle of the boat under a little roof to get not too wet.

I had a shower right now and try to upload some photos before dinner.

I am starving already.

Have fun with the picts and a Happy New Year we got only 5.5 hours left.

Sihanoukville, Cambodia

Hello

Today we cycled 110k from Kampot to Sihanoukville with some baby hill at the end. Sorry not pict the USB port doesn't seem to work in this Internet place.

Lucky it was not to hot so cycling was fairly easy apart from a sore bottom I am fine.

Tonight we had dinner at a restaurant of friends of our tour guide most of us had a coconut curry in a real coconut. I had of course the vegetable version very yummy.

So that is is for tonight.
