Pai, Thailand

Pai is a totally chilled out little town just a 3 1/2 hour bus ride from Chaing Mai. The road is curvy curvy with over 700 twists and turns on the way.

We spent a few days trekking in the jungle with our guide, Kohn (like "cone"), our German friends, Franz and Christine, and our mascot/guard dog Snoop. The scenery was incredible and we were even able to hold off the rain for most of the trip.

The pics of the Pai Treehouse are taken at a "resort" where you can actually rent out the treehouse for the night. We didn't find this until our last day, but if you are ever in Pai it would be really fun to stay there.

We've done a lot in Pai.....

But what we love most is to do nothing.
We've shacked up in our own private bungalow on Serendipity Beach and have been soaking up the sun whenever it is not storming so hard that the power goes out in the entire city. It is the monsoon season after all.

Jenny has been getting various salon treatments on the beach whenever she feels like she has been working too hard!
