Swiming in clear cool pools,sleeping in huts, sleeping on warm sand....yes we did it all. Felt like we were traveling with James Mitchner or Somerset Maugham. Minus the angnst. The noodles plus one had a great time. The additional noodle has been named pastina....you will have to ask one of the noodles for details.

Noodle #1 left his phone on the plane and thought all was lost:( Noodle #2 & 3 rallied and got the phone back and Noodle #1 was happy again. After a long day Noodles are back in their hotel after a late lunch with a awesome view of the river.

We are 7 degrees north of the equator and exected hot humid rainy weather...we are pleasantly surprised. Weather has been perfect.

Went to Patong got lost in an underground Mall. Rented boogie boards. Noodle number 2 knows her stuff. She was ridding the waves like a south seas pro..... Ok like an Andaman Sea pro. Had a wonderful dinner on the beach. Tomorrow Bangkok, then Ko Chang for more beach side fun.

We are in Speedo country and Noodle number 1 wishes he had one....a speedo that is.

Noodle number 3 is now signing off.

Holy Smokes Batman!!! Words can't describe this place. It had everything from monkeys, cliff people, fish, and unreal beeches/cliffs. The noodles were thoroughly impressed.

So noodle #1 worked super-hard to find rooms in Phuket and what does noodle #3 do??? She upgrades the room at Mom Tris Boathouse to the suite. It's fricking awesome!!! Wrap around porch with a sweat view of the ocean. Surfers, chicks, old people...LOL Everything you can ask for.

FYI: Noodle #3 new nickname is the hoover

Phuket, Thailand

The Noodles arrived in Phuket this afternoon for some R & R. Vacations are rough:) The hotel is f@!&ing huge with daily activities for the older noodles. I think noodle #3 is doing napkin folding tomorrow...LOL They Bocce ball, rocking climbing, put-put and archery (who has archery at their hotel). Anyway hope to post some pictures tonight or tomorrow.

The noodles had an awesome time with the elephants!!! Super cool!!! Heading to the Golden Triangle tomorrow and hopefully go up the Mekong river, SWIFT BOAT STYLE...LOL
