... I take some Dramamine. I start to feel better and at the next fuel stop Margaret and I get ginger-ales to drink. We arrive in the outskirts of Memphis (Arkansas side of the river) at 3:30pm after 6 hours of travel and 265 miles (4352 total miles traveled now).

We finally get some hotdog buns... 5:00pm (CT): Memphis, Tennessee. We have carried a package of bratwurst with us in the fridge ...

... was already filling up. We found our 'good' seats (wayyyyy in the back). Oh well, we could still see really well. The show was really good and was a mixture of rock and roll, blues and country. After the show we headed to McDonald's for some french fries for Margaret, along with everyone else in Branson with a 'trainee' taking the orders... it took forever. Back at the MH we all snacked and went to bed around ...

... and they were scrambling to figure out what to do for us. So instead of the open air tram, they took us out on an air-conditioned trolley. No one complained.. The narrator was a local guy named Tim Garrison who had been born and raised here - he was also my age. ... Cavern and the Crystal Dome Cavern. Mystic Cavern was the oldest, and was well established since the 1800's, As with most really old show caves, there was considerable damage to the formations from abuse. They once made moonshine in the cave, and there was even a dance floor at one time, and they held dances inside the cave.
