... trip through the jungle up on the mountain. We weren't sure they were still going to be there at the end, the number of low hanging branches and rough road that we had to go over. ... the full moon party, it was so close now. Our hostel was one of the nicest we stayed in, a room to ourselves, with staff that would bend over backwards to help us. The good news was we had a shared wet room with a neighboring dorm. The bad news was it was the only working toilet for two floors of the building. Win some lose some. ... bad, and one good thing they have done is to drastically reduce the amount of taxi boats. It was getting so that most of the beaches where taken up by parked boats ruining the whole beach experience. Had Rin was fairly quiet, but with the full moon party looming on the 14th I guess you could say it was the calm before the storm.
