I'd done a little research on Phatthalung prior to my departure, so had a few ideas of places of interest i wanted to visit. As usual, i travelled by 3rd class train, and also as usual, it arrived late. The last train back was quite early at 14:20, so after arriving 45 minutes late at nearly 10:00, i was on a tight schedule.

An early start to make the boat at 8:30am saw me looking like an English sweaty mess as I lugged my life on my back like a turtle and headed down to the beach to get the taxi boat out to the floating jetty to head off for Ko Mook.
