      ... So I set off after breakfast with my own private Longtail and a really smiley guide! We travelled to the Emerald Cave first, and I couldn't believe my luck, the French couple who I had travelled over from Koh Ngai had also just arrived to enter the cave - what luck, a friendly face to swim the cave with!

      So I donned my fins and jumped in - it was magical! It actually felt quite warm when you first went into the cave - and very dark. My guide did have a torch but kept letting ...

      ... was anything we needed that she could help with. I asked if there was a laundry close by that I could get some washing done tonight. After much tooing and froing, Pim offered to take the washing home to her place and drop it back spun dried the next day, so I could hang it out myself.       ... back again!! So I "braved" it and went through the jungle on the way back - I pretty much ran back because I'd scared myself!! I arrived back at the resort (after another 30 min walk along the beach) and Danae had arrived!! So pleased to see her - quite the mediator!!!       ... at a new place because there now were ants in my new room and I just couldn’t stay there. I ended up at a beautiful upstairs bungalow with a nice view of the mountain at sunrise. Not bad not bad at all. The man who’s hotel I stayed at, according to San, had started his business as a food cart salesman and worked is way up to owning his own resort. Its commitment like that that just makes me admire people and want to help them more and more. ...
