Too much trouble for a pregnant girling and we parted after a few baby good wealth wishes.

A very pregnant Phenny turned up this morning with a one night worth of work handbag (she did finalize the sewing in front of me)... do you believe this???
I was so dumb smacked that I gave her all the sweets and supply I had with me!
... a "snake show" ...well my expectations for this display were dramatically challenged (yep I was as well picturing a half naked woman belly dancing with a snake around her neck or a guy with a tablecloth around his head playing flute and getting a snake out of a washing basket...)
In fact I was greeted by a professional team of "snake milkers" from the Bio_Ken snakes farm (biggest in east Africa) located just up the road from Watamu.

... to share, as some people had only ordered a main course, but were now hungry. And then, to make matters even worse, some were not even eaten, but only half nibbled and left on their plates!
I don't think there was one moment during the meal that was smoke free. One does not realise how things have thankfully changed back home on this front.

So today I was up early for breakfast so I could head out to Gede Ruins and Watamu Marine National Park. A short Matatu journey was taken to Gede Ruins, on which I was sat next to a young Kenya lady who was being exceptionally nice. The morning starts with breakfast, (as we exercise first thing before breakfast most people have a banana, (which I can't seem to stomach) or an apple...or for some both).
