... on a small island, that was good. It was some kind of veg curry, rice & a few pickles served on a banana leaf. In the afternoon we had a smaller narrow boat that took us down some smaller backwaters, that was great. Saw a snake & lizard swimming. In evening we took a ferry over to another island, fort cochi. It cost 5 rupees for us both (about 1p!!!!), crazy!! We had a meal then made our way back on the ferry. Luckily we where just in time, as a massive thunder storm ...

... At lunch time we went round the corner to David Hall, art gallery, come library come coffee shop, it was full to the rafters of books on art, I could have stayed there browsing them all day.
