... were walking by this school and the children were all in the courtyard and when they saw us they all jumped up and waved. So we all looked at each other and said....why not go in? ... fo times to walk along the sea front and had a great time helping the fishermen bring in the Chinese nets. These are big square nets attached to long wooden arms in the shape of a cross that get lowered into the water. They remain attached to the wooden arms. Almost like a catapult, the net had a weighted wooden beam attached to the top of it and with four people pulling the ropes the beams comes down and the net comes out of the water.
