Well continuing on from my Tuesday itinerary, having said my farewells to Maria and Katharina, I did indeed manage to purchase a ticket to Trivandrum for latter that afternoon. ... our linens, brought us coffee, helped us figure out that one needs to plug in the blow-dryer to make it go, and generally treated us with so much kindness and care that we felt more at home there than we realized (until we left, of course). But new adventures (and another one-hour taxi ride to Cherai beach) awaited us, and like little eager beavers, we set off into the humid night, stopping for a can of Diet Pepsi along the way.
