An unexpected day trip

... say about today really apart from watching useche attempt rock climbing (which he was very decent at) & checking out the waves along the coast to doing some rock climbing of our own (much smaller though) haha, the photos will tell you the story.

By this stage of the trip Uruguay had exceeded all my expectations and we were blown away by the generosity of the locals and our new friends.

... think its a little overrun by Argentian's which are investing their Money before their Monetary system will collapse again.
The Roads are good the Driver's courteous and Cycling is big in Uruquay , They are having the 69th
Vuelta classica Cicliste National Do Uruquay on route 8 right now.
The Beaches are very nice, roundabouts instead of crossings .Uruquay is a clean , organized fairly well managed Country , at least here in Puenta Del Este, MonteVideo is probably another ...

This peninsula is very cosmopolitan.

the beaches are wide sandy beaches the water was too cold for my liking but we are on holidays so who cares. we walked the main shopping area "gorlero" which is over priced but you can find the hidden treasures if you listen to the locals. we took our hire car and headed for the "puerto" and had lunch at a Chiveteria overlooking the marina.

With the bun containing lettuce and a form of breaded Milanese meat, my question was of what it was, to the shop keeper. She was curt in my response. She said something along the lines that she was not a man but a woman. Oh and whatever was in the bun was meat. Half startled, I struggled to get a worthwhile sentence out.
