    ... to reach Trang. Once there, we were told we were never going to make it to the border crossing on time because it was already too late.
    So we were faced with staying in Trang for the night or going a bit further to Hat Yai but we chose to stay because lonely planet said Trang is nice and smaller which means the bus stations are closer to the city and therefore walkable distance.

    ... the night and the small dirt tracks from the beach turned into rivers and streams. It's low season here now as the weather is changing. It's the hottest month of the year here now and just entering the rainy season which in Thailand means some serious amounts of rainfall. After lunch, which was a bit of a mismatch in order to avoid the fancy restaurants and international cuisine, we attempted to get to the view point on top of one of the karsts overlooking the little peninsular of beaches below.     Trang is a small city. It only took us 10 minutes to find a nice place to stay: a backpackers hostel on the main road. It was cheap (200 bahts – 4,5€) and quite comfortable. Just what we needed to rest for a couple of days before leaving Thailand.
