... on our backs haha As we left though we did buy a half watermelon of a seller that could cut it up in less than 4secs!!! Haha Unfortunately, the weather didn't improve and we had rain for our last morning in Menorca. It caused great sighs among the group... Had we realised that we may have just seen our last true summers day?? Boarding our plane to Valencia for Tomatina... so at least there it will be raining tomatoes instead!! :s Lots of love back home ...

It was not an option to miss our favorite summer holiday destination: Menorca. Our 9th year going to Ciutadella, a perfect opportunity to spend quality time (and lobster) with Elisa's family before the trip.
The weather, as usual, was perfect, sunny every day, 28C. The beaches fantastic, the water so transparent.

A gruelling 250nm passage from the southern tip of Sardinia. We managed to complete the journey in 36hrs with a top speed of 10.4 knots (Theo - I was not amused) and an average of about 8knots. The wind consistently blew a 15 knots with occasional gusts of up to 20 knots. It was a lumpy sea making everyone except Richard feel queasy down below. ...
