... Sipalay and talked to just about everyone- "Hi ma’am! What’s your name? Where are you going?". When you talk to or wave at children/teens it always makes them laugh? It’s so adorable. I found some questionable looking batteries and overpaid for them as well, then sat at a little bar on the beach and had a new beer! The Gold Eagle. All beer in the Philippines is made by the same brewery, and until now ...

Due to the fact that the weather was **** (it rained all night and was still doing so in the morning) and as i had the scooter, i decided that i'd head back to Dumaguete the following day as it meant i wouldn’t have to fork out for a tricycle back to the port. Spent another night at Harolds Mansion then made my way to Sugar Beach near Sipalay on the west coast of Negros. This involved catching a bus first to Bayawan {100 peso & 2 hrs} then another from there ...

          ... father - just a grandfather.

Moneywise, we are down to spending just over $100 a day for the first 65 days - that total includes all flights, shelter, food and transportation plus anything else we purchased. Amazing that we have spent the same amount of money during 50 days in Asia that we did during the first 15 days in Vegas-San Francisco. We hope to get it down to around $80 a day for the two of us which would match what the last 3 years ...

... br> But before we go out i'd like to mention that the lack of modern day tech and being in a place like this brings you back down to reality.

For example, last night we went to Sulu resort for food last night, both equipped with our phones as they have internet so we could go online.

After being denied the internet code as we weren't staying there anymore and having to wait 2 hours for the food, obviously we talked to each other ...

... to head back to our loved Boracay for the rest of the holiday. Former roomie is in Palawan, the place we were supposed to be going next, but the weather is even worse there, and it s alot of travelling to get there, and a real pain in the ass to get to Manila from there.

At the end of the day, its our holiday and we do and go as we please!!

          Still champion of Mastermind!!!!
