... to leave. Had a Taco and a beer at the swim up bar and then a last half hour session by the pool. Time to go. got changed in the hotel lobby bathroom and jumped into our shuttle to the airport. Ten of us all on the same flight back. The Cabo airport is really nice and we bought a present or two. arrived back in LA at 6:20pm and cleared customs etc, in a cab and back to Venice where Avalon had got Thai food in for us. ... we (in my case) have had since I was 8 yrs. old - damn - that's approaching 50 years! We do a little 'Skyping' with Paul and all is well with him. He's preparing to depart on his 5 day Mexico City trip where ALL the Rotary Exchange students from all of Mexico will meet. There are about 40 - 50 in his district, but probably 500 in all of Mexico. We also get a Skype from Bob & Bill in Vancouver, and get to talk to them ...

We were quickly transferred from our tender boat to the Pez Gato III catamaran and immediately they started giving instructions and handing out gear – life jackets, fins, and snorkels/masks - as we headed to Pelican’s Rock to snorkel. We were all given dayglo life vests to wear – we didn’t have to inflate them but they wanted to watch the people in their group as this was a very popular snorkeling spot.

... at the Container Bar-Restaurant in Puerto los Cabos (so named because the buildings are old shipping containers). A good night's sleep and a "South of the border" attitude find the MEN hittting the Tecate tienda around noon the next day and heading north in the Sea of Cortez.
