... we spend a good hour or so catching up on the world, reading the reports of the Sydney siege and prepping for Purto's arrival in a couple of hours. We got to the bus station and waited for each bus to arrive with no Purto in sight. An hour goes by and still nothing so we walk in down the road to an earlier stop and see if he got off earlier. We then visited a little island/big rock close to la isla which looked like endless candle wax, and I thought that this was the attraction until we heard the distinct grunts of the sea lions. ... sailed around the bays of Cabo and listened to semi-decent music and drank margaritas until our fantastic fiesta came to an end. It was a good morning.

... at the Container Bar-Restaurant in Puerto los Cabos (so named because the buildings are old shipping containers). A good night's sleep and a "South of the border" attitude find the MEN hittting the Tecate tienda around noon the next day and heading north in the Sea of Cortez.
