4 days chillaxing on Boracay
... rooms weren't the most comfortable, but that was forgiveable with that scenery). Getting to Boracay actually was an experience on itself, with the small plane from Manila to Caticlan, from there with a tricycle to the pier, then a boat crossing and then again a tricycle to the hotel. Good fun.

... other. It was rush hour on a Friday night and there was lots going on. There were big silver trucks covered in artful graffiti that served as buses. From what I could see the driver was up front and people hopped on and off when it wasn't moving and presumably dropped a few coins into a pot somewhere inside. ... to forget, but beating walking the beach in matching "I heart Boracay" T shirts will always be with me. We parted ways with plans for more adventures and a greater sense of beauty in another corner of the world.
There is so much to see and I feel lucky to have a sister who loves these experiences like I do. I tried to exchange my extra Filipino pesos for Mongolian tugrik at the airport. Let the good times roll!
