    ... A few dogs joined us too, there's so many stray dogs on the island and they all look so sad :( For dinner we went to a busy Thai place called Rok Lay. I fancied a burger (lol) and gemma went for Thai green curry rice and also the traditional Thai dish - papaya salad. Both Gemma's dishes were really spicy and she was sweating the whole time!     ... and decided to grab the cheapest place we had found so far....Porn resort! Not much porn action going on but some very flimsy huts to bed down in for the night.

    Bags dropped off and back at the bar we went halves with Tim on some herbs and settled in to our deck chairs to watch the sun go down. Not long into it and the Spanish girl re-appeared and also seemed to know Tim as well as us from the night before...and by the look of it in a slightly more intimate way than we did. ...

    ... and we ride off in the dust.About 5 or 6 minutes later-that translates into a good 10 minute walk from town we arrive at my "garden cottage".Except there really is no garden worth speaking of and its halfway up a hill and then a climb of about 7 steep steps to get to the front door.I feelI have just climbed Mt Everest when I finally reach the top.Theres a matress and a mandatory mosquito net since they seem to see me coming from a great distance and a somewhat rudimentay ...

With that in mind, we must resign ourselves to this force of governance. It was not until the late afternoon that the cycling became enjoyable and we were able to make speed.
