... is that you get off the boat on a floating platform and then get into one of the long boats which ferry you to shore. Obviousyl before that happens there is the enviromental feet-20 baht please!! and the long boat fee-50 baht please!! and then you can disembark.The longboats make there living mostly these days ferrying people back and forth to the floating docks waiting for their ferries. Koh Lipe is an island so we got there by speedboat. Speedboats are bumpy and fun. When we got to Pattaya beach Len and Mae were waiting for us. We went to Sunrise Beach to our hut and went for a swim. The water was so warm.
