... tuk for pattaya beach were we though we'd get accommodation. Everywhere was so expensive and we were so hot walking about in the sun so we asked another taxi man just take us to a decent cheaper place. We ended up at baan kasarin resort ( resort by name only this is false advertising!). The rooms were pretty standard and the cheapest we could find on Lipe, still 800 baht a night though. It seemed grand on first impressions but over the 4 days staying there the bathroom was so ...

I find it fun to watch people who have brought everything but the kitchen sink with ...

Koh Lipe is an island so we got there by speedboat. Speedboats are bumpy and fun. When we got to Pattaya beach Len and Mae were waiting for us. We went to Sunrise Beach to our hut and went for a swim. The water was so warm.
On Lipe there are lots of feral dogs everywhere. They are cute and friendly but at night they make horrible ...

... on monsoon patterns. As told, (and later confirmed on wikipedia) we are currently in the middle of the dry season, which will not break until some time in April. With that in mind, we must resign ourselves to this force of governance. It was not until the late afternoon that the cycling became enjoyable and we were able to make speed. Except for a couple photo shoots and a burger stop we did not stop until we found a hotel on the western outskirts of Alor Setar. What's this ...
