... mall with all the restaurants, big screens and sports shops there was nowhere showing the games and noone could even suggest anywhere we could go to watch it! At least we lost so it wasn't too sad to miss it! Soon enough it was time to head back to the airport and spent out second night in a row on a plane for our 3 hour jaunt back south to start the final leg of the ...

... was so pushy and desperate for a sale but if it’s not right, then it’s not right no matter what the price !

We stopped at AT&T and found out that the Sim and phone credit would cost us $55 ($35 for the mini sim and $20 for the credit). Considering we only want to make about 3 calls max, and can only use the sim in the USA, it’s just not worth it as we’re not sure when we’ll be back in the States – certainly not in 2015 and ...

Day 152 - A rest in Fort Lauderdale

A travel blog entry by jayandbob on Nov 22, 2013

... tomorrow for 4 days. So today was all about seeing what's in the area, when we return to Fort Lauderdale after the 4 days in Miami we have 4 more days here at the Sunrise inn so we wanted to familiarize ourselves with what's around. So after we had a good nights sleep and sleep in we made our breakfast and headed out for a walk around the area to see what was about. We checked out the beach, which was nice, there was a shopping and restaurant/bar area about a kilometer up the road ...
