Its a Hard Rock Life
... haha. (Of course, the foooood.) Its a grocery store that is kind of like a Balinese Whole Foods or something. Its pretty fancy pants with lots of delicious things all artfully and appetizingly displayed. You may want to laugh at me because I was so excited about produce and baked goods, but when the only things available for sale at most stores are dusty loaves of white bread, kraft singles, and the occasional tomato, I can't help but get worked up about goat cheese ...
Mooie dagtrip
Gisteren hebben we een hele mooie, maar vermoeiende dagtrip gehad. Om 10:00 uur zijn we vanuit Ubud richting het Noorden vertrokken. We brengen een bezoek aan de tempel Ulun Danu gelegen aan het Bratan Lake. Ik herken het plaatje meteen. Ik had het van internet geplukt en gebruikt voor de reischeque voor pap. Zelf in het echt zien is toch mooier en mijn foto is ook mooier geworden :).

Bali - Stop 2: Ubud
... a really lovely guest house with an amazing room for a great price. It was tucked away up an unsuspecting street and had a great pool and cool scenery. The family that lived there were so nice and brought us complimentary tea each morning. Perfect!

Road Trip with our Balinese Friends

We then start to barter for a taxi back and are lucky enough to get a cheap ride....
We stop at the organic restaurant for dinner and a beer before a shower and a choice of DVDs to watch.... both of us fell asleep half way through... shopping is exhausting....
Until tomorrow another early wake up call... 6am.... We are both so looking forward to tomorrows ...
