... a whole basket of fresh fruit for 10 Euros, to leather bags, fresh bread, cheese and of course fish. We started off the day with a few fisch brötchen (fish rolls), while I tried the Pferde Bockwurst (horse meat hot dog), which tasted like any other.

... and the tiny group of Paderborn supporters were much louder than the clear majority of Hamburg supporters. The Bundesliga is huge here in Germany, although Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund are the bigger teams. On the plus side we got to see some goals and I tried out Steffie's telezoom lens on Sport Mode, which wasn't bad at all!

... we caught the S-Bahn to the hotel and checked in. We got a room upgrade to the 12th Floor because it was Steffie's birthday!

For dinner, Rainer picked out the Warsteiner Elbspeicher on the Altona waterfront. We jumped back on the S-Bahn to Altona a few stops away and walked down through the gardens to the Altonaer Balkon, which gave us our first view over the harbour. ... comes to visit must paint one! So as it was my last day I quickly painted it! And left it to dry as Lena and I had to go to catch the train.
