Our young woman guide this morning was born in Communist Czechoslovakia two days before the Velvet Revolution on November 17, 1989. Now this Socialist country has been a part of the European Union since 2004. We took a bus up ...

Toured the city by bus and saw, foreign embassies and residences as well as other parts of Bratislava. Saw the old area, saw the palace and the cathedral. Learned much history of Communist times. Very interesting city.. Finished the day with the Captain's farewell dinner. More food and drink. Love those elastic waistbands! Sailed into Budapest at night on the sun deck with champagne. ...
