      ... of the two buildings stood with a smaller hole in the centre of each. Water cascades down from the top across the base of the big hole to then fall into the second seemingly bottomless one. Around the edge of each memorial are the names of the people who lost their lives in the bombing in 1993 and the destruction of 2001. Their names are cut into the metal and on their birthday, the World Trade Centre Memorial trust place a white rose in their name. We saw 2 white roses today. ...

      ... one portion of food to share between the two of us as we would just waste if we ordered more. This does get us rather strange looks from the locals as they tuck into their mounds of food.

      As much as we wanted to head out and explore jetlag had finally hit and we decided to head back to the hotel to rest it out with the assumption that after a quick nap we would be ready to go again. This didn't happen and by 7pm we were both fast asleep.

      Oh well, just more to do ...

      ... met Ben again, but somehow we lost Mike somewhere. The comedy show was star studded with appearances from Charlie murphy-eddies brother, brian mcfadden voice of brian on family guy and a few other hilariously crude guys. We had a few beers because there was a compulsory 2 beer charge.

      Amazingly, Courtney ran into her friends dad in the comedy club! What a small world! We caught the Subway back to the hotel, had a famous late night pizza before we went to ...
