This amazing week I was in New York.

You may have noticed that I haven't updated my blog for a long time and that’s because I have been so busy! But here is the New York update - better late than never!

This week I was in New York, the 'City that never sleeps!'

I saw lots of things including the amazing Grand Central Station (reminding me of Madagascar!), the awesome Empire State Building, went to the heart ...

There's ponds/lakes throughout and walking paths in all directions. Also had a great view of the New York skyline over the biggest lake. At Rockefella centre they ...

... Street, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Little Italy and Chinatown, Soho, Times Square and lots of little bits and pieces in-between. We went to a massive Macy's department store which was too overwhelming for me. There were so many departments and things to look at that I was happier sticking to the streets to do some shopping. We were so exhausted by the end of the day and happy to get back to the hotel to sleep. Adrian was eager to see Times Square at ...

... to scam them for money. I am happy to report that I did not get punched by Spiderman. There are a few good, and very large, places to shop there so I went in a few to look around. I got myself a magnet at a souvenir shop and then found the closet subway to figure out where I was going next. One stop south of Times Square was Herald Square. That sounded like a place I needed to say I had been, so off I went. When you come out of ...
