It was very cute and relaxing.
I loved the dog theme and the people who worked there were very helpful.
    Good price for rooms also.

    MEMORABLE MOMENTS

I'm just looking back on some of the fun moments of this trip through China. It has been a wonderful and exciting journey. It has been tough at times, for China can be an unforgiving country. It has also been sweet, innocent and an overwhelming feeling of home. The people I have met along the way on this, my 10th trip have been filled with humour, understanding and hospitality.

I have included yesterday's evening in Xiamen, after returning from the round houses into today's post. This brings me up-to-date and on the eve of my rail trip tonight that starts here in Xiamen and ends in Beijing 33 hours later!

Xiamen is a city on the sea. The Taiwan Strait actually. Last night after a bit of a rest and a wander around the lane ways, I am starting to form an attachment with this location. It is very much ...

Today the 9 hour train ride from Shanghai ended in the Taiwan Straight city of Xiamen, known as a romantic city on the sea. Indeed, after dropping my bags in a Home Inn that does welcome foreigners, I head to the Jimei school area in Xiamen, complete with a mini lake, dragon boats and pagodas for lovers to sit together and enjoy a warm evening.

    Whassup homies!!

The last few days have been a bit of a blur, and we have had limited access to Wifi, so here's a wee summary of our last few days.

"Our last day in Yuxi, it certainly didnt feel like that. First thing we ventured off to a sweet factory which made all sorts of fruit sweets. Second we had lunch on a giant spinny table - the biggest I've seen so far! Last of all we went back to the school for PE where we played football against the students" - BigStu
