... quiet. It's difficult to return to normalcy after such an experience, and it certainly should be that way.

Eventually, we returned to Krakow and visited the museum at the former Fabrika Schindler. Here, more than 1000 people's lives were saved by Oskar Schindler's employing them in his enamel-ware factory during the war.

As there were no tours or trains to catch this morning, we had a lazy start to the day, accompanied with a good brekkie in the salt mine-esque restaurant (at the bottom of the hotel) and following the AB match back in NZ. ... moeda da época medieval? O Sal. Isso mesmo, esse material valia mais do que ouro no passado e era usado como moeda dentro de saquinhos.


Os trabalhadores recebiam saquinhos de SAL e daí veio a palavra SAL-ÁRIO.


Hoje em dia no mercado de panos têm várias lojinhas para turistas e a igreja tem uma entrada lateral p/ quem paga para chegar mais perto do altar.

... She was fantastic but I don't know how she can be in such a depressing place every day. I won't go into detail on the whole museum because it was truely horrifying and terribly depressing. There was one moment where I thought I would have to leave one of the buildings because I was going to be sick but luckily I wasn't. Althought I am glad that we went because I learnt so much and it made me appreciate our much easier way of life. We are so lucky to have so much ...
