... very hard so it got steeper near the end. There were 38 hairpin bends on the way up (and 46 on the way down!!) VERY happy to reach the top as I cramped with 500 m to go. Not good! Amazing views from the top, and felt funny to be riding up through snow covered rock areas. The descent down the "classic side" was awesome with the 46 hairpin turns. Even overtook a bus! Wow.
