Day 6 (Thursday)
started early, We woke and had breakfast
at 5:30 so that we could be on the road by 6:00 am we were out to the orphanage
before sunrise. Sunrise in the desert is
very cool, one of the best places I have ever seen one. The concrete pump truck arrived at 7:00 but
we waited a while for the first truck.
When Steve and a couple of the other guys went the other day to pay up
front for the concrete they guy asked them ...
... we met down here during one of Mike’s first trips down. He and his mom came to help us with beans and rice and stayed to listen to Pastor Steve share when we were all done. Steve and Lisa then shared with us the job assignments for Mercy Day tomorrow. When we were finished we prayed and were on our way toward bed for the night.
