Apparently, this is the time of year for the turtles to lay their eggs. Our teacher told us that they lay their eggs where they were born. So the turtles may swim hundreds of km away for years and then they return to the area they were born to lay their eggs.

Just a little herpetology lesson for you!

What did we do during the storm?? Hubby read (inside) and we ordered room service! Diet Coke and ham and cheese for me. I think hubby had pastrami. It was quick and free and we liked it. I also decided to get a bag of laundry ready for pick-up today. It was $12 for 1 bag and $50 for 5 bags. I got 2 pair of jeans, a thick sweater, 8 tops, a pair of lounge pants, pajama pants, and 5 pair of undies all in this bag by neatly ...

To the beach for two weeks

... end of our beach. I think they called them coronets, not sure. We saw dolphins swimming offshore too one day.
We managed to get in on most of the happy hours by the beach and played some dominoes and dice down there. We also met and visited with some of the other guests and staff which is always a favorite time for me.
