It's 6am suitcases are outside the door, we are off to breakfast and leave the hotel at 7am for our journey back to the airport. 14 days ago we arrived and in that time we have many happy memories of our holiday. ... see from our room. The water beneath the boat wasn't that clear but our boatman tried to find some interesting coral and we did catch glimpse of several colourful fish.
Back to the beach and we couldn't resist the ice cream station - a converted minicar that has different flavours of ice cream and toppings every day, all complimentary, another little extra !
Back to the beach for another swim and it's strange how the days pass without doing very much at all.
So I'll sign off ...

... cats and the birds away from the guests as there were eating.
A guitarist played during the meal and as we sat under the banyan tree with waiters in their linen trousers and shirts and fabulous straw hats it all added to a wonderful Mauritian lunchtime experience.
After lunch I popped along to see Rudy, our Thomson Representative and booked a couple of excursions but I'll tell you more about them another time.

... around the world. It was our romantic meal at the poolside this evening, such a lovely setting and they make such an effort with the tables and chairs with wedding style covers on.
