This morning, we took down our tent and packed everything up and headed to Mary's with Fenna and Annie. Today is Central America's Halloween!

We said goodbye to Fenna and Annie after helping with a bit of animal care since Fenna is fairly new and she had to teach Annie. Then we took our time to say goodbye to the animals and Mary and Pipo …

Monteverde 21st- 23rd June

We hitched a lift from the owners of the Naked Tiger to the Nicaragua boarder and walked our way over to Costa Rica. It was here we decided that our first destination in Costa Rica should be Monteverde, as a woman at the hostel had told us it should not be missed. Knowing Costa Rica was going to be a lot tighter …

Apparently whales have very accurate navigation skills: some …

This place is run by a local elderly couple and is a bit pricey at $10 per person, though thats most places in Costa Rica we've found. The rooms have a lot of space though and good water pressure and double beds. Its also close to town. And the fan is amazing.
