Yesterday was beach day for us, under the scorching sun. The beach is part of a marine park, where dolphins and whales can sometimes be seen. Apparently whales come here every year, during the December-April period.

This place is run by a local elderly couple and is a bit pricey at $10 per person, though thats most places in Costa Rica we've found. The rooms have a lot of space though and good water pressure and double beds. Its also close to town. And the fan is amazing.
