Had breakfast in Lionshead Village in Vail, then took a gondola ride up the mountain, where the boys did a ropes course challenge. After having lunch on the mountain, it was time to get back on the road again. We all loved Vail, and it's a place that we would like to go back and visit again!! After sitting in traffic for 1 1/2 hours, we finally made it to Denver. Stayed at a Residence Inn that had about 6 restaurants on property, and we ate dinner "Next ...

Meeting up with the rest of the crew tonight, and Sunday is looking good as a first chase day ...

... in the middle of the night). We moved out of California into Nevada and then into Utah and at some point we went into a new time zone and had to put our clocks an hour forward.

A few remote settlements started appearing, some no more than a few wooden shacks and trucks. Some sights seemed quite bizarre. A cemetary that seemed to be miles away from any civilisation. A smart looking white painted wooden house whose nearest neighbour must have been a three hour ...

... the **** out of my cup of tea and generally being chatty and bouncy. He'd been to a convention next door and was on the booze to celebrate the end of it. Then I met his convention friends, and they all invited me out to a local bar to carry on. Had the best night with them, they were GEOLOGISTS (can you believe that?!) so smart people, mad keen on mountains and stuff, and were very funny with it. Yay Denver! Next day just did ...
